Shyne Turned Away From the UK

Convicted felon Shyne Barrow was not allowed to enter London after flying there from Cancun, Mexico earlier this month. Shyne, who was deported from the U.S. back to his native Belize after serving an 8 year sentence for his role in a 2002 New Years Eve shooting in a New York city night club, was headed to London to work on new music but was turned away without explanation.

After that, Usher said he would manage himself with Grace's help but Jive wasn't feeling it and Usher's cd has been pushed back until March 30th.

Miami was off the hook over the weekend as I'm sure you're all aware, but Royce Reed wasn't the only one showing her ass. Former football star and NFL commentator Warren Sapp got arrested for beating the living hell out of a jump-off in his hotel room Saturday night. According to police reports, the chick says Warren confronted her about other men she had been hanging with over the weekend and grabbed her by the throat and forced her out of their hotel room, leaving hand prints around her neck and and injuring her knee. Warren says he asked her to leave the room because he was expecting other guests and the she hurt herself on the way out. Whatever happened, Warren wasn't released from jail until 11am Superbowl Sunday and he wasn't allowed to join the rest of the commentators as scheduled.

Joe says pictures of  his son being taken from his home on a stretcher and a picture of his face as he was being loaded from the ambulance to the hospital is an invasion of his family's privacy.

Kim Porter Says Misa Hylton is Not on Her Level

A week or two ago Diddy's first baby mama, Misa Hylton, fired shots at Kim Porter for snubbing Diddy's daughter with his other baby mama Sarah Chapman, even though she'd accepted Kim's son Christian who was born under similar circumstances [click here if you missed that]. Blogger Carlton Jordan caught up with Kim and asked if she wanted to respond to Misa's accusations. Kim declined while cattily stating Misa was not on her level. Burn!

Estate Trying to Block Joe's Wrongful Death Suit

Last week Joe Jackson attempted to file suit against the UCLA Medical Center to get access to Michael Jackson's medical records in order to lay the ground work for a wrongful death suit [click here if you missed that]. Not so fast Joe. Michael's estate is trying to slap down Joe's suit saying he was not a dependant of Michael Jackson therefore he has no right to file any wrongful death suits. So it's back to the drawing board for Joe.

Baby Having a Hard Time Dealing with Lil Wayne's Pending Incarceration

In a recent interview Baby admitted, "I've been with him forever. It will be the first time in my life I'll not be reachable to him. We work together, we're on the road together. We're always together. I try not to even think about it... I'm losing something in my soul."

What's Up With Keyshia?

Last night during a televised basketball game, TNT announcers blurted out that Keyshia Coles' baby daddy, Cleveland Cavalier Daniel "Boobie" Gibson was absent because he was at the hospital with Keyshia because she was in labor. Boobie later showed up for the second half of the game and the whole 'going into labor' thing was retracted. Keyshia's baby is due next month.

When the firefighters arrived the fire was already out, but arson investigators were called and after they looked around a bit, slapped the cuffs on Danger. Can you say 72 hour hold?

A few months ago Orlando Magic's Dwight Howard filed a lawsuit against his baby mama, former Magic dancer Royce Reed, claiming she was making disparaging remarks about him on message boards. At the time I thought Dwight was being petty and vindictive. Now I understand why he gives her such a hard time. Jackson Family Want Harsher Charge

According to rumor, Dr. Conrad Murray is expected to be charged with invouluntary manslaughter in the death of Micheal Jackson but word is the family wants something much harsher.

Speaking for the family on a daytime talk show their lawyer said, "(Murray's actions) rose to the level of such recklessness you would say this was a second-degree murder charge. That (manslaughter charge) is just a slap on the wrist, and a slap in the face, because Michael Jackson was someone who we knew was in danger of being brought to his knees, brought his death, by the use of these medications."

Jay Z Fleeced by Investors

Jay Z has mounted a multi-million dollar lawsuit against a bank and an investment firm who he says screwed him in a deal to build a luxury hotel in New York. According to reports,

Jay's company bought a $66 million plot in New York City in 2007 and obtained a $52 million  loan that was assigned to investment managers Highland Capital Management LP and serviced by NexBank SSB. The firm also obtained an extra $11.8 million loan for the venture.


But due to the ailing economy, partners failed to pull in investors and there was a shortfall in funds - so Jay-Z offered the land back to bosses at Highland rather than face foreclosure.

In papers filed in Manhattan federal court on Wednesday (03Feb10), the rapper alleges that executives at Highland were slow in accepting the offer, causing him to accrue interest and personal costs on the loans.

The documents also claim Highland chiefs improperly diverted funds that Jay-Z's company had placed into a reserve to cover potential environmental problems.

The papers state, "This action arises out of the efforts by defendants to bleed additional funds from (the) plaintiff. Defendants embarked on a bad faith course of conduct."

Jill Scott Left her Record Label

and they're suing her ass. Hidden Beach Records says Jill still owes them 3 more records per her contract and are shocked that she's decided to leave them after ten years.

According to The Hollywood Reporter,

The lawsuit is unusually detailed in its description of the small label's close relationship with Scott. She clearly was the center of attention for label founder, Steve McKeever. The complaint alleges he paid her million-dollar advances when he wasn't required to, allowed her to keep merchandising revenue, paid $450,000 to fund a concert DVD that Scott later asked not be released, bought her lavish gifts and indulged her desire to slow her recording schedule to pursue an acting career (Scott has appeared in the films "Houndog," "Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married?" and HBO's "No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency").

"Hidden Beach feels that Jill Scott is an incredibly talented artist," the company's lawyer Lawrence Hinkle told us. "No one regrets that this lawsuit had to be filed more than Hidden Beach, but its hands were tied and it had no other option."

Dr. Murray has not been charged in the death of Micheal Jackson...yet.

Singing legend Etta James has been secretly battling Alzheimer's Disease for more than a year. Ms. James had been admitted to Community Hospital in southern California a week ago to treat an infection, but her son has revealed that his mother had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's over a year ago and has battled it in secret ever since. Donto James, who plays in his mother's band, says his mother is suffering from speech difficulties and has contracted the potentially-deadly MRSA virus.

Donto says, "I am going to end up losing my mother if it keeps going on like this. There has to be another doctor out there who can tell me what is going on with my mother."

Investigators can't pin down the exact date of the burglary because Jayson and his wife had been away from their gated estate for two weeks.
