Gotta set the record straight on the speed rap style. It originated in Chicago with Tung Twista (as someone stated earlier). Twista had his first ablum out in like '91 with "Runnin off at the Mouth".
This rap style became a trademark sound of Chi town rappers, especially those on the West Side. All rappers who rap like this, including Bone Thugs in Harmony, Luda, etc. took that rap style FROM TWISTA and incorporated that into their performance .
