Well almost free. AJ Calloway of 106 and Park Free and AJ fame, bout to divorce his wife, Dr. Lao Sealey. I guess it's just as well. Posters on my favorite message board say his wife moved in with her new man in back in March and that AJ BEEN acting single, like he did back in the day when he and video director Benny Boom used live together, running chicks in Brooklyn.AJ and Lao were married for two years and have no children. Uh, they were married for two years, but don't quote me on the "no kids" part.

Why can't people stay married is that impossible these days? I don't think I'll ever wanna get married. I don't want to wake up when I'm 50 years old and know that I've been married 5 times and have children with allthose women.
Why can't people stay married? Because people don't have the first clue about what it means to be married. My mother said to me "Think of the worst thing someone can do to you. I mean the absolute worst thing. If they can do that to you and you can still love them and still want to be with them, then get married. Otherwise, don't ever get married."
Sound advice.
I've been married for over 10 years. I waited until I had been on my own, partied, experienced a lot of things before I settled down. It's not easy. You have to compromise and be willing to put what you want aside from time to time. When it's all said and done,I know I have someone who would take a bullet for me (so to speak). Now that's priceless!

That's a very good advice. I think people in general who get married don't think about the fact that a marriage is about being together FOREVER, grow old together.

If you always wonder what may happen or the ifs and buts then you are never going to experience anything. In life you never know what is going to happen in the future but if you are in love and willing to work at things then you could wake up 50 years from now still in love with the same person.
waking up 50 yrs from now without ever having experienced that kind of love definetly gotta be worse.
You just really got to know that this is the right thing to do at the time. If you feel like maybe your man or girl cant make the right choices to make a marriage work, and is just doing it for other reasons than it might not work. Both people have to be able to know when to keep themselves out of situations that could be detrimental to the relationship. If one person is not willing to do that or finds it a struggle then it could be that its not the time for marriage and the other person either can stay and wait it out,or go into a doomed marriage, or leave and go find someone that shares the same values.
My parents have been married 28 years and they are still so cute together. They still go on dates, flirt, and play wrestle....There's hope! lol

Someone in the marriage always have't to decide he or she is going to do what they want and know body going to tell them different. Some people will start cheating and think the other person should except this, it' just crazy being in a relationship or being married. There's no respect in marriages and relationships anymore, people don't realize you can't do the things you use to do before you got married, like party every weekend with your boys, or have girls still calling your cell phone. Some men will bring women in there house and have sex in there bed.
She probably got tired of supporting his no job having ass.

Sorry Yaz I'm not feeling the whole Mary and Kendu as the poster child for marriage. Something ain't right about them. She just needed the stability.
I think that you have to know yourself as a person before you get married. Plus, society tends to put a lot of pressure on people to marry. You have to be married by a certain age because if you're not then you must be gay, all of your friends are married, so you should be married too, etc. I always said that I wanted to get married, but now I realize that I don't think that I'd actually be a good wife. I like having the freedom to do what I want when I want. Those feelings may change, but right now I just know that I'm personally not ready to compromise and make a permanent commitment.
Wow! I remember him in his single 106th & Park days trying to hit on every PYT. I was surprised when he got married cuz he was out there til his wedding day. Sad to see that they broke up. I wonder if one of them cheated.

A.J works for TV SHOW "EXTRA"--He's a correspondant---so he works and aint broke....now FREE on the other hand may be.....
But Free is like 38 years old and looking great so hopefully someone will pick her up on a tv show soon

Most people who are married for a long time are not togeather because they love one another, they have made it because they have learned to tolerate one another.
Most human beings get sick of looking at the same person(who you know everything about) after a while.

There never was. For the most part, women have had to take what men have dealt out to them marriage wise.In many cultures it was(is) normal for a man to take a second wife or have a mistress.
