Stephen Burbank, the University of Pennsylvania law professor who presided over last week's arbitration hearing, agreed with the Falcons that Vick violated his contract when he admitted his role in a dogfighting ring. The team also argued that Vick used proceeds from his contract to bankroll the illegal operation.

I will be the first to admit that Michael Vick is a stupid ass and his conduct was reprehensible (I am a puppy/dog lover). However, how in d f can they justify going after the money he earned before he was charged/convicted? Hell, next they'll say that he has to give his high school diploma back. Sheesh!

Those bonuses are handed up front; the players really depend on them since its cash in hand and not waiting on their checks for the rest of the year from those signed contracts. Now he has to give back (if he can) all that money the team gave him up front. Its nothing new, it happens to players, but it his case just another problem on the "dog pile", lol.
