Sources claim DMX collapsed at Sony recording studios yesterday and had to be rushed to the hospital. DMX, who had been laying low for a while, surfaced in this video last week which might explain his collapse.

yes. i agree with everyone else. That man is really talented/ or was!!! And it seems like he had a gift from Heaven. His lyrics would send chills thru my spine, i would get goose bumps hearing him speak and pray. But he let that nasty old enemy get the best of him. Whats worse, is the people around him that should help, just entertain it. probably cause if he's high its easier to get his money, just sad. i hope he gets through it
i am so sick of these rappers promoting drugs!!! we wonder why our race is messed up!!!can our young males have some positive rule models please, i am so disgusted...........

Sadly, the number of drug addicted celebrities who have kicked and remained clean can only be counted on one hand. I loved DMX's music and am sorry to see him in decline. His downward spiral has been punctuated by arrests for trifling crimes -- such as car theft. I am told that there are only two ways to get this monkey off your back: to quit it or die. Since DMX is not quitting, we are watching him die. Tragedy.
