The brother of late crooner Gerald Levert has been sentenced to 22-months in prison for not paying child support. Sean owes $85,427.68 in back support for his three children - ages 11, 15 and 17.

I volunteer at a father's program. I help father's of all ages with resumes, employment, school and show them how to be a nurturing father from a mother's perspective. My fiance volunteers as well. It is a great program.
Most of them attend becasue of a court order. Now I will volunteer at a woman's program that assist mother's that are incarserated. 80% of inmates that are woman are mother's.

I guess yall now see how it feels to be put in a category that really don't fit your situation. Every child support case is different for a number of different reasons but we are all treated like deadbeats. Someone please tell me why a woman should receive thousands of dollars a month when you could basically take care of your children and YOURSELF with a job and HELP from the kid's father rather than just saying he is rich (which is probably why you GOT PREGNANT in the first place) let him take care of all of us and some dumb ass judge falls for this more often than not. I guess yall now see how it feels to be put in a category that really don't fit your situation. Every child support case is different for a number of different reasons but we are all treated like deadbeats. Someone please tell me why a woman should receive thousands of dollars a month when you could basically take care of your children and YOURSELF with a job and HELP from the kid's father rather than just saying he is rich (which is probably why you GOT PREGNANT in the first place) let him take care of all of us and some dumb ass judge falls for this more often than not. I am tired of hearing women talk about men THEY CHOSE TO CHILD BEAR WITH and not LOOK IN THE MIRROR for some of the responsibility. We are on the verge of having a women for president, I would settle for a woman who is taking SOME OF THE HEAT for having a child she could not afford to take care of.As far back as the beginning of time, every time a man received pussy a woman received dick. Seems like a fair exchange to me, so why does everyone act like women deserve something extra for engaging in sex. If someone like Sean Levert (and many other men) can be ordered to pay exuberent amounts of money to his children, and they really needed that money, then why not now is the mother of these children not charged with getting that same amount of money to her children AND JAILED if she don't.Seems rediculous don't it. IT IS. Just like jailing a man for not having ten times the amount of money needed to take care of THEIR children.

i am writing from nyc. when i got divorced,i paid child support through the court system. 29% of my gross for 9 years for 3 kids. it was hard as hell,but i made it, never missing a payment. through it all, i have the love and respect of my children,ages 26, 25, and 23. guess what? me and my ex is back together too! fellas, no matter what,be there for your kids. r.i.p. sean.
Ok for the record yes he did take care of his kids he just didn't pay thru the child support system but he sent those kids money he just didn't do it the right way he sent it to the mothers where as he should've sent it thru the court system and he would've had proof valuable lesson men if you pay child support get money orders or write a check in the memo section put child support payment so when that gold digging whore comes and try to slam you your ass got proof you paid otherwise you'll end up assed out in jail like Sean protect yourselfs whenm it comes to these payments some women are bitter
