Oh please, she's doing the exact opposite, which is closing the door! She's contributing to the reasons why so many talented actresses are unemployed as we speak. Many directors continue to cast singers based on their name even if their acting ability is mediocre or weak, instead of an actor who has put serious time into the craft and needs the work.
I felt bad for Nia, Gabrielle, and Sanaa as I read their cover story in Essence magazine about how hard it is for them to find roles and why they have to risk getting type casted just to find work. They have to take what they can get in order to remain relevant and survive in the industry, so Beyonce really needs to get off of her high horse. She's not overcoming any obstacles struggling actresses in the past have gone through or what they are still going through today. They are the ones who are really opening the door, putting up with the politics and favoritism of Hollywood has im place.
Oh brother. Girl take some diction classes she sounds like a country bumpkin when she talks. The girl can sang, dance and put on a hell of a show but an actress she is not.
On a serious note, Beyonce and her management need to be careful. They are starting to become annoying. Beyonce is a good singer and one heck of a performer on stage. Great entertainer. I never quite understood the attraction to Beyonce, except for her gyrating & grinding on the stage. A speech class would serve her well. It irritates my ears when she does an interview; as if she's speaking with a wad of paper stuck in her mouth or she forgot to spit her chewing tobacco out. If Michelle was given the amount of PR as Beyonce, she would give be a run for her money. Michelle can act, but Bey she need to stick her day job.
