A Manhattan judge rejected Inga's claim that she needed to be released immediately so she could go to Los Angeles, home to the only doctor qualified to repair her high-tech hearing aid. Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson said Foxy failed to provide any medical proof of her claims. Now your girl has to make arrangements through the city departments of Correction and Health to get a local specialist to treat her at Rikers or at one of the city's secure hospitals, Elmhust in Queens or Bellevue in Manhattan. Foxy argued that she is deaf without the aid of a surgically attached device called a cochlear implant. It was damaged when she was punched by another inmate, Foxy complained in her mid-January lawsuit seeking early release. She is scheduled for release April 20, 2008.

Diana Ross Got Booed

Diana Ross was performing at the 2008 Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival this past Saturday and got booed because she refused to allow organizers to put her performance up on the big screen. Dear Mayor Kilpatrick,

I would first like to thank you and the citizens of Detroit for the opportunity to have worked for the city that I love so much over the past six years. Serving as Chief of Staff for the Kilpatrick administration since 2002 has been an honor and a privilege. I was born and raised in Detroit and my childhood goal was always to serve my city. I came back home after college to do just that. Serving our citizens and helping to transform Detroit into an even greater city is what I've been dedicated to everyday since January 2002. As Chief of Staff, I managed key city departments in such areas as human services and labor relations as well as administering the day to day operations of the Mayor's office. I've served the administration and Detroit citizens with diligence, strength and perserverance and I hope that my efforts will one day show through above all else.In spite of this, however, I believe that it is clear I can no longer effectively carry out the duties of Chief of Staff. Therefore, this letter serves as my resignation effective, February 8, 2008 to allow for an orderly transition of my duties with the new chief of staff. I painfully regret the devastation that the recent reports have caused to the citizens of Detroit, to my co workers, to the Mayor's family and to my family and friends. Again, I thank you and the citizens of Detroit for the opportunity to serve.

Neither Eddie nor Tracey seem to be missing each other much. Eddie was spotted partying in Vegas last weekend while Tracey went to the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. Law Firm Doubles Reward

Hupy & Abraham, a Milwaukee based law firm that offered a $2,500 reward for anyone with information in the unsolved slaying of R&B singer Yolanda “LaLa” Brown, has doubled its offer to $5,000. “[Someone] may not have direct knowledge, but they may have heard conversations or had conversations with the person or persons responsible,” Lt. Bill Jessup of the Milwaukee Police told The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel “If they call us, that information would be very helpful in solving the case.” Anyone with information is asked to call police at (414) 935-7360.

Kimora Loses Her Parking Privileges

Last week Kimora Lee got busted using a New York Correction Department placard that said, "This Vehicle Is On Official Business". Too bad when she was caught, she was parked in front a department store and the "official business" was a shopping trip. Anyway, when she was asked about it, Kim was all like, "I don't know. I don't know. I'm not driving!" Come to find out, Kimora's driver is also a corrections officer and he gave her the tag. The officer got the pass when he worked in the department's emergency-services unit, but he should have turned it in two years ago after he was promoted and transferred to a Rikers Island job. No biggie. They took the tag back and at worst, the officer is likely to face internal discipline, possibly a brief suspension or fine. Kimora is not in any trouble.

Isiah Thomas Son Busted For Underage Drinking

NY Knicks coach, Isiah Thomas', 19 year old son got his ass kicked and arrested for underage drinking. Joshua "DJ Zeke" Thomas, a student at the Indiana University, was arrested early Tuesday after he went to a Bloomington hospital to be treated for a swollen eye, a police source said. Thomas allegedly became belligerent when hospital staff called police, who began questioning him about the injury he received while allegedly drinking in an off-campus bar with fake identification. "This is bullshit," Thomas allegedly screamed at a police officer. When he refused orders to calm down, Thomas was arrested on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, illegal consumption of alcohol and being a minor in a tavern. Thomas told cops he was at the bar when an unidentified man asked him if he was gay, the report says. When Thomas answered "no," the man hit him in the eye with either his fist or a beer bottle, witnesses told police. He was released from the Monroe County Jail on $500 bail. On the way to jail, Thomas vomited and passed out in the police car, according to the report.

AZ Cops Called The DEA

When the Arizona cops pulled over Lil Wayne outside Yuma the other day they called the DEA and held him until they showed up. The DEA ran the drug sniffing dogs up on Wayne's bus and that's how they found the 105 grams of marijuana, the almost 29 grams of cocaine and the 41 grams of Ecstasy. They also found $22,000 in cash and several firearms, according to officials. Wayne, whose bond was set at $10,185, was arrested in Idaho and Georgia last year for felony possession of drugs.

Busta Rhymes, real name is Trevor Smith, leaves Manhattan Criminal court Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008 in New York. A Manhattan judge sentenced Rhymes to three years' probation and 10 days of community service Wednesday for assaulting his former driver and a fan. The 35-year-old rapper was also fined $1,250 dollars, plus court costs, for driving while intoxicated and with a suspended license.

Again. Wayne was arrested near Yuma, Arizona and charged with possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. His arraignment is set for today. They say he had 105 grams of marijuana and 29 grams of cocaine and ecstasy on him.

Dr. Jan Adams told CNN's "Larry King Live" on Tuesday that fallout from Donda West's death had affected his practice "horribly ... it's almost destroyed." Adams told King that as a television personality he was a target for bad press and lawsuits, but said he planned to continue performing surgeries. A coroner's autopsy report found that West most likely died of heart disease coupled with complications after plastic surgery, but also said the exact cause of death couldn't be known. "The autopsy said what I expected," said Adams, who declined to discuss specifics of West's case, citing patient-doctor privilege. He had previously said he believed West likely died of a heart attack or other non-surgery related health problems.

Flames Smacked Out Of Ass

Remember last February when that guy, Gerard Rechnitzer, accused Diddy of socking him in the jaw after threatning to "smack flames out his ass" over some chick? Well, he's filed a lawsuit and his has 2 witnesses to back him up. Court documents filed last week detail statements given by witnesses to the fight. "I just kind of remember seeing [Rechnitzer] go flying, not flying as in like feet off the ground, but he went back significantly," Marianna Ruiz said in her deposition. "I was just in shock that somebody would ... just kind of strike somebody out of nowhere." Witness Michael Sherman said, "All of a sudden, [Diddy] hit him. And there was a taxi behind Gerard. Gerard got knocked into the taxi." Rechnitzer, 27, is seeking unspecified damages in the suit. Prosecutors declined to press charges. Combs' attorney wrote in court papers filed Wednesday that Combs "is no way legally responsible for what happened to Rechnitzer" and called the suit "completely baseless."

OK, since Eddie and Tracey broke up there have been tons of theories on why it happened. I don't know the real reason, but here are a few I heard. I heard that Tracey wouldn't sign a pre-nup. Usher Raymond's Father Passed

R&B singer Usher's father, Usher Raymond III, passed away at an Atlanta hospital on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately known and Usher was unavailable for comment. The funeral will take place this week at the Taylor funeral home chapel in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Sick Lawyer Or Broke Client?

For the second time in as many court dates, the lawyer representing Remy Ma in her felonious assault case did not show up for court. Judge R. Uviller was super pissed off that she had to postpone the hearing for a second time, too. She told the court that this was a hearing to set a trial date, "not a date for us to all come and look at each other...I'm going to make it very clear," the judge said. "I need him [Remy's lawyer] to appear here." Remy's next pre-trial hearing is set for January 31rst.

Remember back in October when Ginuwine got tricked by a dude named Michael Bourne into signing a 1.75 million dollar record deal with a label that didn't exist? Well, he and the dude settled out of court, but since 'Wine has yet to see a penny of the $500,000 settlement, he's filed another suit. Your boy claims this whole mess has caused significant damage to his career and has kept him from professional opportunities. In a statement, Ginuwine's attorney Brandon Witkow says, "It is our belief that Mr. Bourne never intended to follow through with his and King Music Group's obligations." Duh.

Foxy Wants Out Cause She Got Her Ass Kicked

Your girl Fox Boogie wrote that letter to the judge pleading for an early release because she's been getting her ass kicked in jail. In the letter, her attorney wrote that one the reasons Fox should get an early pass is that she hasn't been able to get any maintenance work done on her hearing implant and that it had been damaged when "she was attacked by another inmate in October." Ike Turner died of an accidental cocaine overdose, the San Diego County Coroner revealed today. Paul Parker, Chief Investigator at the Medical Examiner's Office, said, "We are listing that he abused cocaine, and that's what resulted in the cocaine toxicity."

OJ's Bail Doubled

A Las Vegas judge doubled the bail on Wednesday for former football star O.J. Simpson, who spent the weekend back behind bars for trying to contact a defendant in his armed robbery case. Clark County District Court Judge Jackie Glass set bail at $250,000 for Simpson, who was famously acquitted in 1995 of murdering his ex-wife and could now face life in prison if convicted of leading a robbery last year to get back his own sports memorabilia.
Glass scolded Simpson for arrogance or ignorance and told him to put his Florida home up as additional surety. She said he would not be released until she had legal papers confirming he had done so. Glass ruled Simpson, 60, had violated the terms of bail set in November at $125,000 when he left a profanity laced telephone message for one of his co-defendants with his bail bondsman.

Woman Claims Pac Man Punched Her In The Eye

Can somebody please explain to Adam "PacMan" Jones that strip clubbing is not his friend? Pac Man recently completed a one year suspension from the NFL for misconduct and is eligible to start working out with the Titans when they begin their offseason workouts on March 24, but he has to be approved by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell first. So why did he allegedly punch a woman in the eye at the Body Tap strip bar in Atlanta on January 3rd? Attorney Wanda S. Jackson says Adam was angry because he thought someone at The Body Tap stole some money and a bracelet from him. Wanda wrote in the warrant application she filed January 7th, "I was sitting in the office and he lunged at me numerous times in an effort to do grave bodily harm. Veronica Jones, an owner, went into the hall to deal with a member of his entourage. I followed to gawk. He was in the hall, surprisingly reached over or around a security guard and sucker punched me in my left eye."
Jackson's application will be reviewed Feb. 8, and a determination will be made whether the arrest warrant will be filed.

According to our insider, the standing-room-only event was pushed even later when Beyoncé's hulking bodyguard didn't have a seat. Our shocked spy said, "A minion, who obviously had no idea who Tommy was, told him to get up so the guard could sit down." Legal Victory For R Kelly

R Kelly appeared briefly in an Illinois courtroom today where the judge ruled that a child therapist could not testify at his trial on behalf of the prosecution. R Kelly is charged with video taping himself having sex with a girl who may have been as young as 13 years old at the time. A 20-year-old female witness, the one purported to be in the video, has testified that she is not the one on the tape. Dr. Sharon Cooper, a forensic and developmental pediatrician, was all set to testify that such denials aren't uncommon for child-abuse victims. But Judge Vincent Gaughan denied the request after the defense successfully argued that there was no Illinois precedent for letting someone question a witness's credibility in such a way. Kelly has another court date set for March 12 and his trial, which has been delayed for five years, is scheduled to start May 9. He faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

Credit Card Scams Coming Back To Bite Paul Pierce?

Remember back in December '06 when Boston Celtic Paul Pierce got caught up after a groupie by the name Vaso charged $95,000 on his American Express card and he claimed he didn't know her, but his credit card receipts showed he'd purchased airline tickets for her in the past, proving he was lying? Back then I heard some chatter that he was totally in on it and that charges had been pressed against him but kept quiet. Anyway, today's Page Six wondered why Paul refused to put down a credit card to reserve a table at Meatpacking District club Tenjune last Thursday night. Club sources told Page Six that Pierce also refused to sign a contract for the table and insisted on paying $2,000 cash instead. They say Paul was over heard yelling at the club manager, "Do you know who I am, and how much money I make?" Didn't matter. Without plastic they wouldn't let Paul in so he had to find somewhere else to party.

Mary J Blige, Tyler Perry And Others Caught Up In Steroid Investigation

50 Cent, Timbaland, Mary J Blige, Tyler Perry and Wyclef have been linked as buyers of steroids and human growth hormones in an Albany, New York investigation on steroid trafficking.

According to The Times Union, these artists may have used or received prescribed shipments of steroids and injectable human growth hormone under fake names at their private residences, hotels, production studios, an upscale NY fitness club, and a Long Island chiropractor.

Authorities involved in the investigation, which has exposed athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB and WWF, claim they have no evidence that the aforementioned artists violated any laws but they are targeting the people who prescribed the drugs which include anti-aging clinics, doctors, and pharmacists.

Medical experts say the artists are being prescribed the drugs under the misconception that they will enhance looks, strength and speed, slow aging, and aid healing.

OJ Owes His Bail Bondsman Money

OJ Simpson is back in a Nevada jail because he violated the terms of his probation after he left a message on his bail bondsman’s voicemail to pass on to one of his co-defendants. The bondsman, Miguel Pereira, owner of You Ring We Spring bail bonds, says OJ still owes him $18,750 on his September bail. Plus, he says OJ hasn't reimbursed him for plane tickets, a car rental in Florida, or even the $40 bail-filing fee at the jail. "I haven't received a dime for the work I've done on this case," Miguel told reporters.

Fed up with mother fuckers changing what they told me Alright?"

Details From Wesley Snipes Tax Case

Actor Wesley Snipes failed to pay taxes on his $38 million income, court papers have revealed. The New Jack City star is due to stand trial on charges he fraudulently claimed tax refunds of almost $12 million in 1996 and 1997. He is also accused of failing to file tax returns from 1999 to 2004. But documents filed ahead of Monday's (14Jan08) trial claim he paid no federal taxes on $38 million in income from 1999 to 2004, even after he was informed he was being investigated by the Internal Revenue Service. The papers, filed by the prosecution, also claim Snipes sent the U.S. Treasury a "fictitious bill of exchange" totaling $14 million on three occasions. Snipes, 45, is due to stand trial on Monday in U.S. District Court in Ocala, Florida, where prosecutors say Snipes lived at the time of the suspected fraud.

Reggie Bush Might Lose His Heisman

There's a new book out called "Tarnished Heisman" that claims 2005 Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush was provided with hotel stays, cash for shopping sprees and money to buy and customize a car. The book hints that USC coaches may have known about some of the arrangements, but it does not provide evidence that any school official was aware of alleged improper gifts. The NCAA and Pac-10 are investigating whether Reggie and his parents took improper benefits during 2004 and 2005, when Reggie was still playing college football. If the NCAA determines that USC violated rules, the football program could have to forfeit victories from those seasons — when the Trojans won a national championship and lost in the BCS title game against Texas — and face additional penalties. If Reggie is found retroactively ineligible, he could lose his Heisman. The book is based largely on interviews with Lloyd Lake. Lake and his former business partner Michael Michaels entered into an agreement with Reggie and his stepfather to launch a marketing company with Reggie as its main client. The deal fell apart when Reggie signed with established sports marketer Mike Ornstein. Michaels reached an out-of-court settlement with Reggie and has declined to comment. Lloyd Lake is suing Reggie to recoup $291,600 in cash and gifts that Reggie and his parents allegedly accepted during Reggie's sophomore and junior seasons.

Lowell is currently in jail serving a 2 1/2-year sentence for drug possession. "They disclosed it today, and we plan to file a motion for dismissal,” said Scott Leemon, Yayo’s lawyer.

Donda West Autopsy Results

TMZ got their hands on the the final coroner's report on the death of Donda West. The L.A. County Coroner has concluded that Kanye's mom died of "coronary artery disease and multiple post-operative factors due to or as a consequence of liposuction and mammoplasty." Plainly put, she had a heart attack after the surgery. The report indicates her final manner of death "could not be determined." The coroner says several things could have played a role in her death, but they could not say for sure what exactly killed her, adding there was no evidence that anesthesia -- or even the surgery -- caused or contributed to her death. It was reported extensively that Donda West had cosmetic surgery the day before her death -- performed by Dr. Jan Adams, who was not board certified in plastic surgery. It was also reported that another doctor refused to operate on Donda West before Dr. Adams came into the picture. The other doc had said she had a medical condition that made her a candidate for a heart attack. The Coroner's report narrative states that Stephen Scoggins (Donda's nephew), a nurse with an advanced degree in Public Health, was called by a friend of Donda to go to the surgery center where the procedures were performed, because Ms. West was not "waking up soon enough." Donda West died on November 10. We're told her family has been told of the results.

New Drug Charges For Bobby Brown

Cops were called to a Brockton, Massachusetts Holiday Inn on December 1 to break up a fight and were directed to a 2004 Navigator in the parking lot where they found Bobby Brown in the front seat. Police are seeking to charge Bobby with a single count of possession of a Class B substance, which the court papers identify as cocaine.

Poor Dionne! Dionne Warwick got jewelry stolen from her Rome hotel room Tuesday. Dionne is touring Italy this month and while she was out preparing for a concert, thieves broke into her room and stole $100,000 worth of stuff. Dionne lost two diamond rings, a necklace, a Rolex watch and a pair of earrings she'd left on the nightstand. Interesting note: She was staying in the exact same room actress Cameron Diaz got robbed in seven years ago.

James Brown Estate Auction

James Brown's possessions are being appraised and auctioned off, partly to pay taxes owed by his estate, court-appointed trustees revealed. Lawyer Adele Pope would not say exactly what items would be auctioned or how much they were worth. She also refused to say after a hearing, how much the estate owed. James Brown died in Atlanta, Georgia in December 2006, throwing into turmoil the future of his trust, which might include music rights and his 60-acre Beech Island home in western South Carolina. The total value is still unclear. His will called for the items to be divided among the singer's six adult children. But Tomi Rae Hynie, who claims to be Brown's fourth wife and the mother of one of his children, has contested the will. Ms Hynie argues she is entitled to half the estate. The children are also contesting the will, which was signed 10 months before Brown's death. The trustees have asked Brown's children and Ms Hynie to provide a list of items they do not want auctioned. A lawyer for Ms Hynie, a former backing singer for Brown, said some cars were given to her and should not be auctioned. "It's easier to divide money, and we don't know who will be getting what," Robert Rosen said

There's this great book out called "Daughters of Men" by Rachel Vassell. It's full of portraits of African American women and their dads. Sanaa Lathan and her dad are in it, Meagan Good and her dad, Tischa Campbell and her dad, you get the picture. Anyway, one of the portraits is of LisaRaye and her father David Ray McCoy, and though she looks really pretty on her picture LisaRaye also looks really sad and old heads from Chicago know why. In 1988 LisaRaye's pops was found shot and killed in the back seat of his Cadillac in a Southside Chicago alley, LisaRaye was 22 years old at the time. Ne-Yo Suing R Kelly

So remember when R Kelly kicked Ne Yo off his Double Up tour? Well, Ne Yo is suing his ass. Ne-Yo's law suit claims he was kicked off the tour because the audiences and critics liked him better than R. Kelly. Ne Yo says he expected to earn $785,000 for opening for Kelly at a minimum of 25 concerts, but only recieved $50,000 after he was fired after only two performances. Roy Jones Better Be Quiet

Why is Roy Jones bragging to the press about how he lets his dogs fight?

On Friday, after practicing with the Knicks in Greenburgh to promote his Jan.19 fight with Felix Trinidad at the Garden, Roy admitted he'd allowed the pit bulls he breeds on his property to fight. "I just let my dogs get down five, 10 minutes, 15 minutes. Maybe like the longest I let them go was a half-hour, but I never let them fight to the death 'cause I can't take that."

John Goodwin, the deputy manager of animal fighting issues for the Humane Society of the United States, said it is a felony under Florida law to allow dogs to fight on one's property. "If you put your dogs down there for 10, 15 minutes, that's a felony in Florida," Goodwin said. It is unclear when Jones last allowed his dogs to fight on his property, but by talking openly about the subject, he may have opened himself up to a criminal investigation, according to Goodwin. "If he's admitting that he's fighting his dogs, then they need to go down there with a search warrant and confiscate those dogs," Goodwin said.
