Gary Coleman got charged with reckless driving and disorderly conduct for running over a fan earlier this month. Gary got into it with 24 year old Colt Rushton at a Utah bowling alley on September 6 after Colt took Gary's picture after Gary asked him not to. You know what happened next. They argued, it spilled outside and Gary accidentally or not, hit Colt with his truck on his way out the bowling alley parking lot. Colt filed a lawsuit seeking damages for medical bills, pain and suffering, and punitive damages.
A Manhattan judge has issued an arrest warrant for Linda Williams, the mother of Dame Dash’s 16 year old son, Boogie. Damon, who has full legal custody of of Boogie, has not seen him since he went visit his mother several weeks ago.

Prosecutors ruled Tuesday that there was no criminal conduct involved in the March death of R&B singer Sean Levert, who was in jail when he became ill. Prosecutor Bill Mason ruled out criminal conduct after his office reviewed an internal investigation conducted by the sheriff's department. Levert's widow, Angela Lowe, filed a federal wrongful death lawsuit in June accusing county jail officials of neglecting his medical needs.
"A lot of deceiving information has been reported regarding my recent child support proceeding. It is unfortunate that the media has been used to manipulate the circumstances and distort the facts. Those that know me, all know that there is nothing more important to me than my children. I have always supported all of my children financially, emotionally, and spiritually. This has always been the case and I will continue to do so in the future as this is my responsibility as a parent. Despite my hectic schedule, I make it a priority to be present for important occasions in their lives. This includes being home for their birthdays, school functions and being present at as many of their extra-curricular activities as I am able. Again, there is nothing more important to me than my children. This is demonstrated by my effort to support them in every way that I can. Naomi Campbell has started the community service she was sentenced to after being convicted of attacking officers on a British Airways flight after her luggage got lost. Floyd 'Money' Mayweather is being sued by a Florida developer who says F-Money welched on a deal to purchase an $8 million dollar property. The developer has a signed contract stating Mayweather and Mayweather Productions had put a $1.7 million dollar deposit into an escrow account for the purchase. The problem is Floyd and 'nem never established the account but tried to close on the property and move in anyway. The seller is seeking damages for being mislead into taking the property off the market and for expenses and interest incurred.

Fashion Rocks was like, 'OK, we have an opening at 7 p.m.' But Wayne's people said, 'Can we do a bit later. He's not going to be ready'. Then Weezy calls back at, like, 9:30 and says, 'I'm five blocks away,' which is like 500 blocks away in New York traffic, so they told him to forget it.

Flint, Michigan rapper MC Breed is in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital in Atlanta where he is on life support due to kidney failure. His manager, Darryl Morris, said the rapper, born Eric Breed, was playing a game of pickup basketball Friday evening (September 5) in Atlanta, when he collapsed and fell unconscious. “He had to be revived three times,” his manager said. “He had to be rushed to the hospital where they diagnosed him and told him his kidney’s have failed.” Now, MC Breed, 36, is in serious need of a kidney transplant and is seeking a donor to help save his life. Breed's manager told AllHipHop.com that a number of rappers are being contacted to participate in a benefit concert for the revered rapper, which will take place in his hometown of Michigan. “We are hoping we can find Breed a kidney through this process, before its too late,” Morris said. 
Saturday night Gary Coleman and his wife were at a Utah bowling alley when a 'fan' asked if he could take a picture of Gary with his cellphone. Gary, who pleaded no-contest to punching a female fan in the face who'd bugged him for an autograph in 1999, refused. The guy took the pictures anyway and things turned ugly. After arguing inside the bowling alley, the dude followed Gary and his wife outside and according to Gary's people, jumped behind Gary's truck as he was backing out of his parking space. The cops were called, but neither man was issued a citation and police said it wasn't clear whether Coleman ran into the dude on purpose or not. "We're currently trying to sort through those issues," police Lt. Bill Wright told the Deseret News of Salt Lake City.

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick pleaded guilty today to two felonies of obstruction of justice and lying under oath. He has agreed to pay 1 million dollars in restitution, spend 4 months in jail, serve 5 years of probation, give up his law license and resign as the mayor of the city of Detroit
Oprah Winfrey's mother is being sued by a high end boutique for failure to pay for more than $150,000.00 in clothes and services. According to court records, Vernita Lee has had an open-ended charge account with Valentina Inc. since January 2004. The lawsuit says Miss Vernita racked up a bill of $155,547.31 in purchases, perks [including private shows and delivery service] and interest as of July 1. Miss Vernita was supposed to be making minimum monthly payments of $2,000. Valentina attorney Joseph Niebler, Sr., said today that at some point Miss Vernita stopped making the payments. The store is asking for full payment plus interest, the complaint says.

They say the thieves, one of whom's face is clearly seen on surveillance video, entered Floyd's house through his bedroom window and took jewelry only. Mayweather is offering a $100,000 dollar reward for information leading to a break in the case. Remember back in January when R Kelly started his 25 date Double Up tour featuring J. Holiday, Keyshia Cole and Ne-Yo, only to kick Ne-Yo off the tour after the second date, because according to Ne-Yo, the crowd was loving him more than Kells? Well, the courts agree with Ne-Yo, sorta. A Los Angeles judge ordered R Kelly's promoter, Rowe Entertainment, to pay Ne-Yo $700,320 in lost wages. Superior Court Judge Malcolm Mackey made his default judgment after the Georgia based entertainment group refused to respond to the lawsuit filed by Ne-Yo under his real name, Shaffer Smith. At the time, the promoter blamed the dismissal on Ne-Yo's camp for not completing the proper paperwork.
Usher Raymond is putting together a 'ladies only' mini tour of 15 intimate venues in support of his 'Here I Stand' cd. Said Ursh, "There's only a few artists that can pull that off. I feel like I've had such a connection with my audience. This album, I felt like, was definitely the type of one that was more intimate. So what better way to get up close and personal than to make it all women? The ladies like to see that masculine build," he added. "They question if I still got it." Usher also announced plans to release his own line of lingerie and men's underwear.
Despite having the biggest media push of any of Matthew Knowles' stable of artists, outside Beyonce, Solange Knowles' sophomore effort, Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams, scanned a disappointing 30,276 units it's first week out, landing your girl at number 14 on the charts. In contrast, Lil Wayne, currently holding on to the number 8 spot, sold 55,139 copies last week, more than a month after his cd's release. The Game sits at number 1 with LAX scanning 222,844 copies. Fox Boogie was in Detroit last Friday for a Legends of Hip Hop concert at Chene Park where she shared the bill with Nas and Scarface. Too bad they booed the shit out of her. With her brother serving as hype man, Fox sang a fucked up medley of her verses from various hit songs and was roundly booed for her efforts. Oh, and my spies say while she did not have on any pink lipstick, her weave, as usual, was fucked up.
Over 200 mourners turned out Friday for the funeral of Dr. Dre's 20 year old son, Andre Young Jr.. The cause of death has not been determined. Results of toxicology reports are expected in the coming weeks.
