Queen Latifah got got for nearly $10,000.00 in jewellery while on vacation. Lafitah had been staying at the $1,000-per-night Stone Haven Villas in Black Rock, Tobago with a female friend when burglars broke in Monday [Dec. 29] night. Queen, who checked in under the name Cynthia Hadden, returned from a barbecue brunch held in her honor by the hotel's management to discover a bracelet, two gold rings, a gold chain and a silver ring were missing. Police were called to the resort after staff security conducted a search of the estate. The robbery appeared to be an inside job.

Hosea Thomas, the man convicted of killing T.I.'s best friend Philant Johnson in Cincinnati last year, was sentenced to 66 years in prison. Hosea and his brother Pardon [who testified against him in court] got into an altercation with T.I.'s entourage at a concert after-party after being denied entrance to VIP. The brothers later followed T.I.'s crew and shot up their van in a high speed chase on the freeway, fatally wounding Philant. Steve Harvey Child Abuse Allegations

Steve Harvey's ex-wife Mary Lee Harvey recently took Steve to court claiming he's abusing their son. According to online reports: October 14th, Mary says her son, who lives with Steve Harvey in the Atlanta area, came to visit her in Dallas. Mary says it was during that visit when she noticed bruises and puncture marks on the child’s body. Those who examined the boy say the wounds were likely made by a belt buckle and the bruising from a paddle-like instrument. A nurse examining the child at Plano Medical Center summoned police because of the severe nature of the injuries. A police report has not been made available to Mary Lee Harvey; however, she has corroborating medical reports from a child psychologist, a pediatrician and others who examined the child. Luckily Harvey says there was no internal damage done as a result of the alleged abuse.

Mary also claims Steve does not allow their son to visit her per the court order. She says she has not been allowed to see her son since mid October even though the original order calls for visitations of at least two weekends a month.

Embattled Giant Plaxico Burress' teammate Antonio Pierce will play ball - with prosecutors. The linebacker will cooperate and testify before a Manhattan grand jury about how Burress clumsily shot himself in the leg at a nightclub, The Post has learned.

Pierce's testimony should guarantee an indictment against Super Bowl hero Burress for felony weapon possession - but at the same time, give Pierce a pass on charges of hiding the wide receiver's .40-caliber Glock pistol after the shooting.

It was Pierce who drove the wounded Burress to New York-Cornell hospital early Saturday. Then Pierce drove his own SUV, with the unlicensed Glock in the glove compartment, home to Totowa, NJ, sources say.

Burress' wife, Tiffany, who went to the hospital after the shooting, retrieved the Glock the following day from Pierce's residence and brought it to the Burress home, also in Totowa, where investigators retrieved it, sources say.

NeNe Leakes, the breakout star of the hit Bravo reality show “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is no longer living at the pricey Duluth five-bedroom residence shown on the series.
According to Darryl Pierce, the broker for the 5,000-square-foot home at 1765 Silvermere Court in Duluth, NeNe and her husband, Gregory Leakes, left in November after Winwood Properties filed an eviction notice in September. The notice, filed Sept. 24 with the Magistrate Court of Gwinnett County, said Greg Leakes owed $6,240 in past due rent. “The tenant said they would move by Sept. 14th because they could no longer afford the house,” the notice said.

NeNe Leakes, in a series of e-mails to AJC reporters on Tuesday, would not say where she is living now. “It’s none of your business,” she wrote. But she noted that they “are financial able [sic] and stable to live where ever we feel fits.”
NeNe, 41, wrote that the eviction notice does not have her name on it, adding “you don’t know my relationship with Greg so be careful what you report!”
The Duluth home, she wrote in an e-mail late last week, “was a lease purchase corporate deal with Greg & his company. Things didn’t work out between the two of them so they did what they had to do and he did what he had to do.”
On Tuesday, she wrote, “If we rent, lease purchase or buy, money is still coming out of my pocket. So who’s [sic] business is that??”

Plaxico Burress Fined, Suspended, Done For Season

The New York Giants on Tuesday fined and suspended Plaxico Burress for four games — the rest of the regular season — after he accidentally shot himself in the right thigh last weekend at a Manhattan nightclub. The team also placed him on the reserve non-football injury list, which means the wide receiver couldn't come back for the playoffs, either.
The team punished Burress a day after he was charged with illegal-weapons possession, which carries a penalty of 3½ to 15 years in prison if he's convicted. Burress is due back in court March 31, unless he reaches a plea agreement.

The 44 year old female doctor who treated him the night of the incident has also been suspended for not reporting the gun shot wound to police are required by law.

Fake psychic Miss Cleo recently sent out an email trying to gage public interest in her return to the public eye. The email reads in part: “Hello My Dears, first and foremost, HUGS AND KISSES!!!! I need a favor from each and everyone of you. My publicist is currently conducting an email campaign to gauge how the ‘public’ would receive my return to television. The show would focus on relationships. Your emails will be so VERY IMPORTANT to moving forward... Cleo describes her new effort as a cross between a talk show and a reality show like, "The Surreal Life" meets "The Tyra Banks Show".

Gary Coleman Pleads No Contest

Gary Coleman has pleaded no contest to a disorderly conduct charge stemming from a September incident at a bowling alley.
The 40-year-old former star of "Diff'rent Strokes" was ordered to pay a $100 fine in a Payson court Tuesday. He also pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge, which will be waived if he doesn't have any other violations within a year.

Rapper 50 Cent claims to have lost millions in the recent stock market crash. 50 says, "Pushing (the album) back was to position myself a little better. I've lost a couple of million dollars already. William Balfour Officially Charged

Chicago police said today they have arrested William Balfour for the murders of three relatives of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson.
Balfour, 27, has been in custody in Stateville Correctional Center on a violation of parole and was transferred to Chicago police custody today after they served an arrest warrant. He was then transported to the Wentworth Area, where he will be held pending approval of charges by the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.

At a closed hearing last month, investigators presented evidence that Balfour had a gun matching the weapon used in the Oct. 24 slayings of Hudson's mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew. Balfour is the estranged husband of Hudson's sister, Julia. He was scheduled for another parole violation hearing on Wednesday.

Plaxico Burress Shoots Self With Unlicensed Gun

NY Giant Plaxico Burress, who last made it on Rhymes With Snitch for walking out on a $2000.00 bar tab after getting dissed by a chick, shot himself in the leg at a crowded night club in New York last Friday. Plax, who was already benched because of a hamstring injury and fresh off a suspension for missing a team meeting, was treated and released from New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. A league official said the bullet went through the skin and muscle tissue of Plaxico's right thigh but did not hit any major arteries, and that there were no broken bones.

Plaxico turned himself in this morning, and is expected to be charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Plax, who signed a five-year, $35 million contract extension prior to the season, also was involved in a sideline confrontation with coach Tom Coughlin during a game and has been fined multiple times. The Record of Bergen County reported last month that police responded to two domestic disturbance calls at the home of the star wide receiver in the past six months.
