No biggie, unless you were one of people suckered into dropping $450.00 for a ticket. Seems folks are having trouble getting refunds because "technically" the non-profit organization they bought the tickets from doesn't exists. The 'Dionne and Friends Foundation Inc.' has not had incorporation status for nearly three years -- and there's no record it ever had IRS nonprofit status. The offices they leased are empty and the phone lines are disconnected.

People should have seen that coming; in this economy, you need to check things out before you lay out that kind of money. Look at the Bonzai scheme where people lost hundred, thousands and MILLIONS of dollars because they trusted someone and didn't do their homework; how you like your psychic friend now???

Dionne doesn't appear to be smart enough or influential enough or crooked enough to run a Ponzi scheme, but I'm sure she has a little street hustler in her from way back.

As a human being, she sure does fall way below the mark. All of her recent recording projects attest, however, to the fact that she has ruined her voice with all of that smoking--can't hit those high notes anymore.
