She was placed into an induced coma before being transferred into an intensive care unit. She is currently recovering in a Sao Paulo Hospital.

She already has access to the best doctors in the U.S., no doubt, and I'm willing to bet that they all refused to do the procedure so soon after childbirth, so she went to Brazil instead. She risked her life just to get praise from him. I dont' think she had a heart attack on purpose or anything like that. I think one of two things happened:
1. She pulled a hard-headed Donda and doctor-shopped until she ended up in Brazil. She was in for major surgery (tummy tuck, breast lift, butt lift, nose job, lipo, etc.) and had the heart attack DURING the procedure (not prior). It is highly unlikely for someone her age to have a coronary event from the initial effects of anesthesia alone. She probably lost too much blood during the procedure because her abdomen was still jacked up from pregnancy and they're trying to cover it up.
2. She flew down there with plans to MAKE him pay attention to her. She had her surgery then had her people call Usher and leak the story she had complications to try and garner sympathy from industry and his fans. She wanted to rain on his Grammy parade and force him to come to her rescue otherwise he would look like a cad. Remember Pharell and nem banned her from the recording sessions because she is disruptive, controlling, and has a 'tude.

It is not uncommon for Americans to travel abroad for surgery and a vacation combined. I saw a news program that showed some hospitals and clinics outside of the U.S. that perform these procedures for far less money than people can even think about getting it for in the U.S. These places are set up like typical vacation spots. That does not; however, mean that going to such places is a smart move.

Anybody can find a quack surgeon to cut them up and take their money, but what reputable/ethical/prominent American surgeon would put their surgical practice on the line by performing elective surgery on a patient this soon after childbirth, without proper evaluation? I doubt the surgeon(s) that performed this procedure monitored her health for any reasonable amount of time beforehand.

Between heart problems and scar tissue from surgery she needs to reconsider ever having more babies or cosmetic surgery again, because it looks like it might be too much for her body to handle it in the future. She had better hope she doesn't get a bad infection or have difficulty healing from all of this. Get it together, Tameka. Your family needs you to be a wife and mother, and not a corpse.
I think that she had the surgery in Brazil so that nobody would know (or find out) that she was having cosmetic surgery. She needs to love herself more and not put herself in that situation again.

She's still not too old to have children, but after having heart problems and scar tissue from surgery she may no longer be physically fit for breeding. Not all childbirths are successful. Women die during the labor and delivery process all the time.

1. the story is a damn lie aint nobody massaged her damn heart back to life --- I trained at Grady, and when they pop your chest wide open and dig in to massage a heart, its a very last resort and you're pretty dead anyway.
2. if she flew all the way to Brazil - she was getting a Total Makeover (bodylift,body tuck,butt implants the whole nine)
3. Celebs fly down to Brazil for the resort style plastic surgery vacations there so they dont have to worry about the media.
