just like i expected. she "blacks" it up for the black mag, darker skin, no hazel contacts, dark curly weave, and for the white mags she "whitens it up" hazel contacts, white washed skin, blonde wig,etc
so, i dont ever knock her different skin colors as i was born damn near transparent and i am practically clear in the winter (people tease me and call me Casper) and then in the Summer I get really dark where my skin isnt covered.... (and my man teases me and calls me a zebra)... so, blah on the skin color attacks.

Get out of my head. It's not like the talent isn't out there, but the exposure on other singers is extremely lacking right now. These record label execs need to get on their jobs. I bet album sales would go up significantly if there were a more talented vareity of artists in the game getting some shine. Sales have gone down because the public is being fed the same cookie cutter images. They need to wake up, change is what's being desired.

Remember this: If we didnt believe the stereotypes ourselves and refused to buy into it (the wearing of the lighter weaves,etc) then others will have no choice than to accept that if we think its beautiful, than that is all that matters.
