is being sued by a make-up artist and a stylist who claim she owes them $1 million dollars combined. Roxanna Floyd says she lost $700,000 when the rapper-actress failed to pay her for work she did between July 2005 and February 2008. In a separate lawsuit, celebrity fashion stylist Susan Moses said she was cheated of $300,000 during the same period.The lawsuits were filed Monday in federal court in Manhattan.

I assume as a clebrity with an income unlike the average person they thought she could pay her debt. They probably extended her more credit and time because of her status. They could have been getting the run around, broken promises, anything so you just never know.

Latifah had worked with Roxanna Floyd with the Cover girl cosmetics line ( I remember seeing them both during a episode of ANTM). I guess she waited so long because Latifah gave her that huge opportunity.
I think this story is true because a few years I remember Fox 5 TV in New York had interviewed a owner of a recording studio that was suing Latifah for unpaid bills.
I don't know. This sounds a little off. I've read for years that La La has had a long-term affair with her trainer. Maybe these ladies were her side pieces and she cut them out. $700K is a ALOT of money for makeup even over three years.
