Someone please school me on international law. Does Switzerland even have statutory rape laws and if so what are they? Is he bound by the Swiss courts if he's not even a citizen? He's more than likely bi [which = gay in my eyez] and because he didn't show up for the hearing, the judge had every right to put an Order of Support in place. Even if he didn't believe ole girl, he STILL should have gotten his azz on the first thang smokin' to Switzerland to challenge it, but since he didn't, now he's gonna have to pay until paternity is established. And I'm kind of suspicious about the fact that she waited so long to contact him but either way it goes, he played himself by not showing up.
10 years = a nice chunky check all at once (if she can get it). Agree that it will be more difficult to collect since he's not a citizen and presumably won't be traveling there any time soon. Still, there may be some European Union consequences if he tries to perform in any of those 54 countries. With shared financial treaties, they may be able to garnish wages from any dates he plays in Europe (except England).

I've been hearing "gay rumors" about Sisqo (AKA Mark Andrews) for years but I don't recall anyone ever romantically or (homo)sexually connecting his name with any other male. I can't say that I really care about it and after all these years I simply don't believe the rumors, but I guess there are some things to be said about they way he carries himself sometimes.
A lot of people have been repeating what they've heard or read about celebrities in blogs, articles, etc., for years, but the gossip rarely ever goes beyond being just some same old lame ass rumor.

If YGG sent Sisquo a message, instead of denying parenting the child right off the bat, what he SHOULD have done was gotten with his lawyers and set up a paternity test FIRST and then went on from there.

you can be ordered to pay support without a dna test. a test is only given if requested. and in some states if you are taken to court for support when the baby is as old as this child and you request a dna test, some judges will say hell no!! because now that the mom wants money all of a sudden you are not the dad. also only a dumb ass or a guilty man doesn't show up for court because you will lose by default. yes my ex lost by the default by not showing up for court in 1989.he has been to court many times since by himself i only showed in 1989 and in 2005. i was told i did not have to be there those other times. my ex never asked for a dna test and he signed his name on all the orders. i was sent all paperwork about what happened in court and like i said he agreed to everything and signed his john hancock. because he knew what it was. he did not want to pay and he did not. my kids are now grown and he is still the deadbeat dad he was 20 years ago.sisqo must think this child is his. that is why he did not ask for a dna test and it also explains why he did not go to court. he may not be able to reverse it even if he is not the dad. because by not showing up shows guilt or at least he suspects he is the dad. dumb motherfucker....

Foreign judgments can be easily enforced in the US by filing the judgment in a US court, which then gives it "effect" -- with some exceptions (such a judgment obtained by fraud or without adequate process).

The age of consent is 16 in Switzerland (horribly, it's only 13 in Spain, and 14 in several other European countries), and Switzerland has an exception if there is a 3 years or less disparity. So, either way, Sisquo is royally screwed.
I read that the case had been pending for six years and Sisquo had never responded, so after all THAT TIME the judge found him in default...although he can still probably have the judgment reopened and get a DNA test, and perhaps he should..unless he knows the kid is his..perhaps the child is his spitting image??
