My point is that in some cases the woman is a participant as well- she can be the abuser as well as the abused. I witnessed this firsthand, unfortunately. Some women and men LIKE fighting-they get off on it (I don't understand it myself.)

My point is that in some cases the woman is a participant as well- she can be the abuser as well as the abused. I witnessed this firsthand, unfortunately. Some women and men LIKE fighting-they get off on it (I don't understand it myself.)
The lesson that I learned from witnessing abuse was to NEVER get involved in an abusive relationship, and I never have.
I would just add to what you said about women needing to raise their standards-they also need to recognize their true worth-when you know that you are worthy of better and best, your standards automatically rise. This also applies to men as well-why get with a woman who (for whatever reason) you have to hit or beat up?

I don't endorse violence on any level but as a certified domestic violence counselor, it was plain to hear that Rhianna told this story for PR reasons. i don't buy that senario about saving young girls from dying. You were told by the people in your Impire as you call it, that if you didn't please the public and save your image it would be back to your Island. The only truth I heard her say is the fact that they were both young kids and as young kids you do studpid things but you also don't deserve to be persecuted. Leave Chris Brown alone and let him get back to being the great entertainer that he is. Rhianna you didn't fool people.

That was the right thing for her to do. Its not the only reason she not going back to him either . If Ri went back to Chris everybody would be talking about how stupid she looks it would be sending out the wrong message period!! and women who are in the beginning stages or getting their ass beat would think. "Ri gets hers kicked too, so it must be ok"
