Seven girls have been expelled from Oprah's South African Leadership Academy for Girl's for sexual misconduct. A South African newspaper reported the girls allegedly tried to force pupils into relationships with one another and to touch each other intimately. This is the second incident of sexual misconduct at the school in two years. In 2007 a school matron was fired amid sexual and physical abuse allegations.

Music producer Timbaland is suing Blackground Records claiming they're jealous of his success as a producer and performer and accuses them of contacting other labels to tell them not to hire him and of stiffing him out of money. Timbs wants out of his contract plus monetary damages. Blackground is owned by Aaliyah's uncle Barry Hankerson and has also been sued by Toni Braxton for practically the same thing. Trina Johnson says she was booked to do a tribute concert to Toni Braxton in Suriname only to find out that concert goers were expecting the real thing. Moments into her second song the audience of 1500 began pelting her with bottles and booing. She was arrested shortly after. Meanwhile the concert promoter and all the proceeds from the concert were nowhere to be found. Trina is facing a three-year prison sentence after authorities in the Latin American republic accused her of fraud for impersonating singer Toni Braxton even though Trina claims to have a contract that clearly states she was booked to impersonate the singer. Prosecutors in Suriname are allowed to detain the accused up to 67 days, and there's no such thing as bail. Trina's husband was also arrested but he was released after spending 2 weeks in a 8 feet by 10 foot open-air jail cell with no heat and no lights and 11 other prisoners existing on a breakfast of one cup of hot tea and a small piece of bread. A combined lunch and dinner consisting of a cup of boiled rice and maybe 2 ounces of protein, either fish, chicken or "mystery meat" and later at night, a cup of flavored water.

Chris Brown may skate on any felony battery charges filed against him because, according to reports, Rihanna started the fight by clocking Chris in the face with the heel of her stiletto shoe. District Attorney's office announced today that Chris Brown was being charged with two felonies – assault and making criminal threats – in the alleged beating of his girlfriend Rihanna last month. Even though the couple seem to have reconciled, the case is proceeding. If convicted, Brown faces anywhere from probation to a maximum four years and eight months in state prison, DA spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said.
A news station in LA claims to have gotten ahold of the investigator's notes in the Chris Brown case and according to the notes, Rihanna read a three-page text message on Chris Brown's phone from a woman. An argument ensued and Brown allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the car but couldn't because she was wearing her seat belt. Brown then allegedly shoved Rihanna's head against the passenger window. When Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching her while driving. Blood spattered all over Rihanna's clothing and in the interior of the car. Her mouth was filled with blood. Brown allegedly told Rihanna, "I'm going to beat the shit out of you when we get home. You wait and see." Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, "I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there." Brown then replied, "You just did the stupidest thing ever. I'm going to kill you." According to the report, Brown continued to punch Rihanna, bit her on her ear, her fingers and put her in a headlock -- she almost lost consciousness.

R Kelly is being sued by a private investigator who claims the singer stiffed him on a $300,000 bill. According to a lawsuit filed last week in Missouri federal court, Charles Freeman claims he was hired during Kelly's trial to "obtain and/or recover certain tapes that were said to incriminate" R. Kelly. Freeman said he did the job, but never got paid. He's suing for damages plus interests and costs.
