LisaRaye and Rev. Al Sharpton had been photographed at several events together and rumors swept the Internet [read: Black entertainment blogs] that they were dating. Well, LisaRaye wants you to know that the good reverend does not have enough money to date her is not her new man. ?uestlove from the Roots stole a page from Swizz Beat's estranged wife Mashonda's attention whoring book and posted an open letter to Stevie Wonder accusing him of breaking up his family and of not having the guts to speak to him about it. ?uest copied Mashonda's letter word for word except at the end where Mashonda says, "This is not a publicity stunt, I don't have a record coming out." ?uest ends his letter by plugging his new cd declaring, "This is a publicity stunt, I do have a record coming out in February called How I Got Over."

Jaimee Foxworth Gets a Restraining Order
I was watching 'Life After' featuring former child star Jaimee Foxworth on TVOne the other day and Jaime was all about how her baby's father changed her life [got her off drugs and out of porn] and what a great dude he was. Well, either Jaime was lying or dude is a Dr. Jekyll/ Mr. Hyde type because Jai just got a restraining order against dude claiming he kicked her ass and dragged her through some glass! Jaime also claims one time she was feeding their four month old son in the back seat of the car and crazy babydaddy dude pulled the car over, jumped in the back seat and tried to push Jaimee out the car and even threatened to "steal" their son. Under the restraining order dude is required to stay 100 feet away from both Jaime and their child.

Already I can hear some of you saying " why are u blaming her, You cant make someone leave their wife, You cant break something thats broken". Well, my marriage was not broken, as far as I knew we were celebrating our sons birth and getting ready to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary . Call it blind love, whatever. I call it being a devoted wife.. As far as me blaming her and not blaming him, thats false. Me and my husband have worked out our differences. We are in a good place as people and as parents. I accept his choices and I am comfortable enough with myself to move on. I am so very blessed in many ways.
My concern with AK is no longer the fact that she assisted in destroying a family but that she has the audacity to make these selfish comments about love and wanting to be with someone, even after knowing their situation. How is this the same Superwoman that I sang out loud with in my truck? I ask myself sometimes.
If you are reading this Alicia, let me start by saying, you know what you did. You know the role you played and you know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage. You know that I asked you to step back and let me handle my family issues. Issues that you helped to create.
Im not saying everything was perfect all the time but no relationship is perfect. We made a vow to God and I believe you should have respected that, as a woman. I know you owe me or my son nothing but I just wish you would've handled things more carefully. I'm not judging you, I put you and the whole situation in the hands of God, the Higher Power. Just know that as a woman, I expected so much more from you. I never had intentions on reaching out to you this way but after reading your twits tonight, and the constant disregard, you left me no choice. I feel that after 1 and a half years of you hiding this affair and acting like it doesnt exist, that now is the time to confront it, since you talk so openly about it now
This is not a publicity stunt, I dont have a record coming out. I just need to close this chapter in my life and that means confronting our issues. There is a small child involved. His dad loves him to death and he wants to spend more time with him but hes afraid because he knows we don't have a relationship. This is my main concern. Even Though They're Being Civil
they're still getting divorced. Pictures of Nas and Kelis hanging out together flooded the Internet last week and even Russell Simmons Tweeted on his Twitter that they were back together. Not so fast. According to reports the divorce is still on. The next hearing is scheduled for November 20.
Rick Gots to Pay
Rick Ross was just handed a temporary child support order until the matter between he and baby mama Tia [the one who's down with 50 Cent] can be settled. Tia told the judge Rick hasn't given her a dime for their son in over two years. Now Rick has to cough up a monthly amount [unknown] as well as medical expenses. Rick was also granted visitation.
In other Rick Ross news: Rick is suspected to be the rapper who was robbed by groupies in the following news cast.
Chris Brown's Comeback Concert

Kanye Wins a Reprieve
Kanye West was supposed to go to court this month to face charges from that time he smashed on the paparazzi in LAX [click here if you missed that], but because Kanye is considered public enemy #1 in some circles these days, his lawyer was able to get his trial date pushed back until October 23rd.
Six Flags Removes Steve McNair Halloween Display
After intense pressure from the community, Six Flags Ohio agreed not to include a Halloween display that depicted Steve McNair and the mistress who murdered him three months ago.
"When the gates open for the start of our Halloween Haunt event on Friday," said park spokesman Don Helbig, "park visitors will not find a depiction of Steve McNair in any scenes." Other celebrities included are Michael Jackson in pajamas, Health Ledger with pill bottles and Sonny Bono on skis. Shit Just Got Real
They say when Plaxico Burress landed on Rikers Island to begin serving his two year prison sentence the other day, he didn't exactly receive a hero's welcome. Prison guards snitched to the NY Post that after Plax was strip searched and shorn of his trade mark goatee, fellow inmates hurled obscenities of the worst kind as he was led to his single person prison cell. Good thing he didn't have to stay there for long. The next day Plax was transferred out of Rikers to a medium-security intake center in upstate New York where he'll be evaluated for more permanent placement elsewhere in the state prison system. With good behavior, the earliest Plax can be released is June 6, 2011.
Last Night VH1 Taped a Salute to Def Jam
for the VH1 Hip Hop Honors and everybody was there except for a few glaring omissions. Namely Jay Z, nor any of his affiliates [read: Kanye West] and LL Cool J. The first two are easily explainable. Jay Z is currently overseas promoting his new cd 'The Blueprint 3' and Kanye West just may not be ready to do any televised appearances so soon after his last episode, but LL? You know there's some juicy gossip behind that snub. Anyway, stalking Twitter last night I heard the long standing fued between Ja Rule and DMX was squashed with a man hug, that Foxy Brown and Faboulous were not getting along during rehearsal and that Lyor Cohen gave a scathing backhand to Bad Boy and Death Row while comparing them to Def Jam. The show airs Oct 13.

is #1 on the billboard charts for the second week in a row. Jay moved 298,000 copies of The Blueprint 3 this past week bringing his two week total to over 700,000.

Jermaine Jackson is mad at his brothers for not supporting his Vienna Tribute for Michael Jackson. The evidence? The brothers scheduled a photo shoot in New York to promote their upcoming reality series and Jermaine canceled at the last minute, claiming he was sick. Brother Marlon told Entertainment Tonight, "He's got pink eye, and I told him that when I see him, he's gonna have a purple eye." Jermaine will be photo shopped into the pictures.
Lil Boosie Gets Two Years
New Orleans rapper Lil Boosie pulled a 2 year bid after pleading guilty to a third offense marijuana possession charge. Boosie had been facing 10 years but agreed to a plea deal and will serve at the least one year behind bars. Boosie's new cd 'Superbad: The Return of Boosie Bad Azz', debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard albums chart earlier this week.

SG: Now, we have heard many rumours surrounding your relationship with Beyonce and Im hoping you can clear some of them up for us. Firstly, what are you doing with yourself at the moment?
LL: Well, I am currently still living in Houston and working as a Chef. I am extremely passionate about my job and I love what I do. I have a good family and good friends so I couldnt ask for anything more than that. Life is good!
SG: Glad to hear that. How did you meet Beyonce?
LL: We were very young in our teens. From the same area in Houston. We knew eachother a long time. We were very close and very good friends. (silence)

I wish them nothing but success. They are doing what they thrive off and so am I. I wish them nothing but good health and happiness.
SG: So you dont look at Jay-Z and be like "Oh that could have been me"
