Punk Wants to Get Married in a Wrestling Ring
No doubt this is just a case of smack talking to promote his fledgling wrestling career, and lucky for him there's not much to talk about this morning but David Otunga, who appeared on WWE NXT the other night, says if Jennifer Hudson was game, he'd love to get married in the ring. No lie, I would sooo watch that! Anyway take a look at Dave bragging about himself on the wrestling show the other night.

Punk is determined to become a professional wrestler at all cost. He was working 'The Chitlin Circuit' in Florida under the ring name Alexander Davenport but for some reason, I still can't digest Harvard graduate attorney to wrestler transition to save my damn life. Can someone help with that *because I'm really thinking that he was NEVER an attorney to begin with --even if he did step foot on Harvard soil*?

Here's my OTHER theory about this dude's interest in wrestling with menz: maybe he wants to use his legal training to become the next Vince McMahon, and he's learning the game from the ground up?
What's wrong with the man trying to live his dream? If he was letting his family starve while trying pursue his dream that would be another thing. I think it's great that he achieved something so prestigious like going to Harvard and could turn around and do something he really wanted.
and fwiw, this man don't appear to have JHud at gunpoint to be part of his program.

Meh, there's somebody out there for everybody. He is NOT my cup of tea but I am sure there are women out there who would love to be with a man like him.
People need to stop holding on to one version of masculinity or professional success. Black people have a very narrow view of both. There are so many non-black men that provide for families in non-traditional ways and I doubt they worry about people thinking they are losers/gay/weird etc. And even if people do feel that way the man's wife is still ride or die.
I just hope they get married because Jennifer seems like a decent woman who deserves to have a husband help her with her child.

Mr Otunga has the build and the noteriety to make it...I think he looked at the sucess the "MIZ" from the real world is having and is trying to capitalize off his reality tv status...Professional wrestling is a very hard business to break into for him to satrt from the ground up shows his determination and love of the art...let him live...
People are acting like Punk isn't a come-up for J.Hud. Behind the Oscar is a Burger King chick from southside Chicago. Real talk, he's the one upgrading her.

I agree completely. She is a ghetto girl who had a good voice. Chicks like her DO NOT GET MARRIED or even date men without bullet holes and a litter of baby mama's.
She is definitely the one being upgraded. She knows the deal, look at how her sister turned out.
he stuck by her while she was pregnant and he's going to marry her, he's not going to make her his baby mama. This is how it's suppose to be done, so i'm not going to put him down just because of his choice of work. especially, since he could just sit home and live off of jennifer. the lawyer degree sounds good, but maybe he never really did it for him.
Plus there have been many great black professional wrestlers. I grew up on Junk Yard Dog, and the Rock is half-black too. Wrestling has come up, it's not trying to fool anyone anymore. He's playing a great "bad guy"...And I find it hilarious that the cocky ego-maniac character wrestling uses to get people booing is portrayed by rappers as their real personality. @2:28 and 3:30 had Jennifer stayed in Chicago she still would have made something of herself. Her sister was married so there goes that silly point you were trying to make. What type of women don't get married? Black ones? Full figured ones? I'm happy for her and David and wish them well. They each bring something to that relationship and neither one is a "come up" for the other.
let me get this straight, you do 3 years at Harvard law and decide to become a wrestler.
For the audience, Harvard Law graduates are titans in business and all sectors of the economy. As he said B.O. attended Harvard law. So the question is why would you get into Hollyweird where you could have been a shot caller?
Maybe he likes to be in front of a crowd. Maybe the pretense of politics of business didn't appeal? We don't all have to be corporate sheep, just because we can. There's plenty of other people, black and otherwise, who fill the role if he doesn't want it.
Can you say "Hill Harper"? Went from Harvard to the CSI crew(3rd edition of CSI at that). Before that he had some sucky straight to video roles too. Just saying.. ..
Just cause he graduated don't mean he passed the bar. And maybe that was his parent's dream and not his. Don't forget he was on I Love NY chasing after a bitch that was chasing after Flava Flav.
He didn't say he graduated from Harvard Law, he said he studied there for 3yrs. lol...this dude is so flamboyant in a subliminal way and suspect for certain.
