No one is disputing that putting black people to work is a good thing. And providing steady work for actors is not only lucrative for all involved but provides a sense of security almost unheard of in Hollywood. But, if any part of that Boondocks episode is true and especialy if it's true enough to fire somebody about it, TP should have been more concerned with keeping his business private rather than securing himself some kind of allegiance from his employees! Bottom line is, they were his employees, not his psychologists. It was HIS place to keep private things private. There is no loyalty in Hollywood! Now he looks like a manipulative predator, if that cartoon any truth to it, he should have just kept it moving and simply minimized the whole thing.

I worked for Humana, but in that industry we know there is no real personal benefit to being a whistleblower but in Hollywood, that is not the case. However, if anyone has ever worked for Mr. Perry (that’s what everyone MUST call him now) knows a great deal of factual information was revealed in the episode of Boondocks last night. There were a lot of things pretty close to how Mr. Perry operates. However, the bigger question should not be @ his personal life sex choice, (Stevie Wonder can see what he is) but instead…Has our Robin Hood a/k/a Tyler Perry turned out to be just ROBBING OUR HOOD.
Inquiry minds want to know. Tyler preaches and takes from the black community, but he truly beleives and buys into “WHITE” america. He is always saying to his devout black audience, that Hollywood doesn’t believe in the power of the black dollar. Therefore, we go out in full force to buy ALL the same re-packaged crap he makes to help him become #1 @ the box office, #1 on TV (horrible, horrible shows) #1 in DVD sales @ Wal-Mart. Yet, Mr. Perry is really an OREO, black on the outside, and white in the middle.
Mr. Perry is getting our money only to give it to the white man. Can you believe 80% of the people who work for Tyler Perry are WHITE, especially in key high paid positions. He uses black on stage, on tv and in the movies, to get the black dollar. Yet, he spend it quite WHITELY….In Tyler early days everyone who worked for him was black. The president of his company & his assistants were black. Only can a white man go from being an assistant to president of a black empire, built on the black dollar. Now it seems only our black dollar is good enough to support for him & his white employees. Did you know this? My thoughts exactly. Tyler Perry has been hit with the BP rumors for a minute, but that "Boondocks" episode was more about the fact that a rich, well known, black actor/producers keeps a "cult" of some sort, and that it's the same people in the same types of movies.
The fact of the matter is, regardless of if someone in his camp ran their mouths about something like, it wouldn't be that hard to string a seemingly reasonable rumor like that together because that's how it really looks (Tyler Perry had almost the same actors in the same plays, which eventually turned into the same actors in the same movies). Aaron McGruder just played off those observations.
He's BFF's with Oprah so I'm not sure why he hasn't taken any notes about dealing with potentially disloyal employees.

The Boondocks is just a bunch of buffoonery to me. When I finally did take the time to watchlike last year or sometime I just couldn't get into it. It's not THAT funny to me.
