OKAY...I am a mom and my daughter had gum stock in her hair at age 3, I got ice cube and put it on the area until the gum got hard and then took a small fine tooth comb and started removing it. Did it hurt yes, she cried and screamed but she lost less hair that way and it taught her a lesson that gum stays in your mouth or trash not in her hair or my leather chair.

Mel B's little girls are BEAUTIFUL regardless of whether they have long flowing hair or not. They will grow up to NOT be self-conscious about stupid things....like 'oh my long hair'. I think this is a good lesson for them and all of us. Women (of all races) care too much about having LONG hair. Willow Smith (Will Smith's daughter) is another good example of a young black kid who will grow up feeling good about who she is. These little black girls will know that they are beautiful and not because of their hair being long, short, nappy, whatever...it's good for them. It should be a lesson to all of you too. Little girls don't have to have long straight, or just long hair.
