Kelis needs some humility in her life she is all about self. Nas needs to take his rights to court because she was not a baby momma but a wife. I see what she's saying. I said the same thing, but it was after I realized my son's father had chosen to have less than minimal involvment in his life. And these entertainers are away all the time. How much visitation is he going to have? I can imagine how many weekends he can't show up because he's on the road, or in the studio. So I'm guessing its the same for her.

Kelis stated in the original divorce papers she wanted to share joint custody with Nas and then changed her mind because the divorce settlement outcome did not go her way. She was only granted temporary alimony due to the fact she just gave birth and was not working but now she gets nothing and is in jeopardy of losing her home in LA that she was rewarded as well so Nas agreed to pay her mortgage in lieu of alimony for 7 months until house is sold or until the mortgage payments equal that of the 300k total Kelis was rewarded. She is mad because she is not getting a dime it is going toward her house.

If she was preventing him from seeing the baby, wouldn't he be the type of dude to try to get the court to admonish her for ordered visitation? Maybe he isn't able to make the visitation for working. Kelis is constantly making statements that make it clear that she does not allow Nas into Knight's life and Nas mentioned once that it was hell trying to get his child, thought generally he doesn't get sucked into the conversation. Its a shame that she finds happiness in keeping Nas away from his son...I remember how excited he was when he found out he was going to have a son and now she has blocked him from the kid's life from day one, beginning with keeping him out of the delivery room. I really do feel sorry for Knight and I hope that Kelis stops being so selfish and vindictive sooner than later. Don't act like she's all bad and he ain't doin nuthin wrong. They were married, its his job to take care of him. And in the beginning he wasn't paying. He is now, and if he wanted to see his son, he would have gotten this custody thing crackin just as fast as she got the financial aspect taken care of. They both do wrong I'm sure, but please tell me if you think nas will have knight on tour buses, airplanes, in studio sessions, any of that. In the future when his son is older, maybe he will. But I really don't think it is hard to believe that he wouldn't be that involved at this point.
