1st of all when did I say it was all the male's responsibility when a child is conceived? The person who initially responded to my comment was male so addressed HIM and his responsibility to HIMSELF to remain child free. I say the same thing when addressing women which is why I said:

And if you don't want to do the vasectomy wrap it up or shut up when the child comes. There are lots of options for men and women when it comes to contraception. YOU have to weigh the risks associated and decide if you are willing to take them. If not, your only other choices are to abstain from sex (yeah right, I already know) or take the risk of having a child.
When it comes to sex there is ALWAYS risk for MAN OR WOMAN no matter what decision you make (shocker right?), if you don't want kids you have to deal with the risks of whatever contraception you choose, if you don't want contraception you have to deal with the risk of having a kid you don't want, and if you abstain you'll be blue balling it. AND contraceptives do fail so if you really want to be safe, choose the latter.
If you can't afford contraceptives and abstinence is too hard better choke the chicken or get a blow up doll. Those are the only other 100% safe options out there.
