Well she's going have to cancel it because nobody in their right danm mind is going to see a concert for over 1,000 dollars for the ticket. Is that VIP, Free food, photo op, partying, and a drive home? I mean how in the hell your ticket prices go up 900 dollars? Thyats a freaking high range. You ain't cher or tina turner or Bruce Springsten. And even then I don't think they charge the average fan that so I don't think janet should either.

This ish is going to be over before it even starts. Who's gonna pay that kind of scrilla to hear and see the same shit from the past 20 years.

Love me some Janet, Ms. Jackson if you nasty, but that right there is some bullshit in this economy.

She got to help Jergreasy get on his feet and get his finances in order. She is the only one in the family generating any revenue so its gonna cost y'all (her fans) pay up stans and idol worshipers. And the say ita a fuckin recession, they must think that we are all stupid.

Beyonce charged those kind of prices for her concert tickets, I don't go to concerts so I thought she always priced her tickets like that.

Is she gonna give good weave? I want the weave wearing big hair Janet! People are so hard on Beyonce's weave and lace fronts what about Janet! I want the want the weave wearing CONTROL, RHYTHM NATION, whip slang her hair back n forth JANET and I want her NOW!! ((((angry rant!)))) She looks like a baby bird without her hair on!!! If I pay over $100 and I will...I want the weave I pay for!

I think her fan base can pay it.

Celebrities make fools out of regular people, if yall refuse to pay the high prices, they will lower them.

Its a recession and they don't care, they know some nut is not gonna pay his rent just to buy a ticket, but they don't care and she won't even give her brother Jermaine any money, greedy bitch.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, she ain't got nothing to worry about. Remember this is the tour where the fans picked the cities and obviously these are the places where her true fan bases are.

I would pay $21.67 for a Janet Jackson ticket. The same price I paid in 1993. Go to hell Janet for dissing the ones who got you there.

Anonymous said...

Prince charged that much and his concerts in NY were sold out. She is an icon. What did you want her to charge $15.00?

Anonymous said...

I aint got no money for no J.J. tickets.

Anonymous said...

Good for you Janet.

Quiana said...

Well I am here in the Bay Area and that's high. Shit Prince shit wasn't even that damn high and my friend went to go see him. I want to know was MJ tix that high when the last tour was going to happen. I just want to know.

Anonymous said...

Where J.D. at??

Anonymous said...

Just what ever you do don't get another weave...

Anonymous said...

Not to Janet: You are NOT MJ. Mike was $1,000 worthy, Janet, maybe $200.

Anonymous said...

I can pay it and STILL wouldn't. I knock no one's hustle and if people will pay that much then good for her.

But to me Janet ain't never been more than a pop princess who was luck enough to be Michael Jackson's sister.

This would gave been too high even before the economy tanked. She should atleast have $50 tickets. Also peep the fact that the majority of these are smaller venues. Radio music hall instead of MSG.

Jay said...

THIS IS FALSE.. Tickets do not start at the above amount. PLEASE CHECK TICKET MASTER, There are tickets as low as $38 and im in Houston SMH.

I wouldn't go across the street 2 c Janet.

where's my stimulus? said...

if I pay a grand to see Janet she gonna have to come to my crib....sheeeeitt!

Anonymous said...

I'll be there! I'd probably be willing to pay up to $150 but we'll see since I'm in NY. When I went to the All For You show at MSG, I paid $125 and was 2nd row center (no lie). But when I went to the last tour, I got a hookup and paid $10 for extreme nosebleed seats. Best believe I walked my ass down as far as I could go and sat in the $200 section.

Either way, I'll be there.

Anonymous said...

Sorry Janet but you are NOT Michael. Jig is up bitch. We now know yall ain't one and the same.

Anonymous said...

Janet is not a singer......never was

Anonymous said...

She gave a heck of a concert in 1990 in Germany BUT I ain't paying 1000 bucks to see no damn body. I will give her $50

Anonymous said...

good luck with that. is she hard up or what? even Prince started ticket prices at $20. and JJ is no Prince.

Anonymous said...

oooooh yall want the janet impersonator ticket prices. janet's an icon, she's not lowering the prices trust me. janet has a huge fan base, trust me these shows will not be cancelled. if you've ever been to her concerts, she puts on a show from start to finish.

i dont take anything from anyone, past or present. you're an icon if you can do an entire tour off old shit, nothing new. like someone else said, prince charges out the ass too, and dont blink twice for doing it. why? cuz you know he puts on one helluva show start to finish.

Okay Janet I love you but baby you gonna have to drop those ticket prices stat!

We are in a recession! She is out of her mind if she thinks people are going to pay for a ticket prices that range. $122 should not be the min! It should be lower to give a chance for some of her fans to attend even if they going to get bad seats.

Heck I brought SADE tickets for $176 for me. That is the max I go because it is SADE! I love Janet but let's be honest she is not on her "That's the Way Love Goes" era no more. She needs to be realistic. Now if this was Micheal....hell I pay any money to see him! He delivers in stage period.

@ $1,213.00. chile please, do these muthafukka's know we in an economic slump? we can't have crackhead looking middle eastern dude that probably inherited their money from their forefathers role in the slave trade to live out their Nubian goddess fantasy. until this child has a successful tour I don't wanna hear s*it bout no damn tour. that snaggle tooth whore hodonna with her growth hormone taking self can complete successful tour, brittany's retarded ass can be propped up by her meds and her no talent ass shielded by her dancers and all manner of props while she walks around like a drunken monkey on stage lip syncing can completer a tour. and Janet's ass can't complete a successful tour then chat bout she want $1,213.00. *sucks teeth*

Everybody sing, We are a part of the Rhythm Nation....!

That top price most likely includes extras as this is suppose to be a more intimate venue this time around not big stadium. I can't pay 1200 but I can get with 200 or so. I will definitely try to see her in AC, NJ.

@ Quiana,

I live in the Bay Area too..I am paying mad dough to see Sade. That is because she rarely tours and I am an avid fan.Ain't nobody going to SF(San Francisco) to see this rehashed shit for those non-recession proof prices. No offense, but it's not like she has dropped any demo-leaks to make anyone want to go and see her. I mean all the movies she's been in, she has not made any songs for the movies and diversified her image so people will want to come and see her. I will be watching the video camera bootleg excerpts on youtube..Lil Ray-ray and Paco will be scalping them for recession buster prices for $50 to $300 on Ebay....SMDH!--ThatBKChick

Janet is a showman, and I've seen her in concert before. Her fan base will pay to see her, and I will too! Janet come on to NYC, we are waiting, "All For You"!

Bee Gee said...

Either these prices come down, or I see another bout of vertigo in Janet's future..

Anonymous said...

For all the cities that no one cares about the prices are low like san fran and omaha but in places like DC nosebleed seats are going for $200. That venue only allows the1st row a good view. I paid less to see Prince in NY with the cost of travel. This tour is not for fans it is all corporate

Anonymous said...

bitch please i should burn your ass with a cast iron skillet, and put a jar of dark and lovely in your hair while you sleep..........PENNY!!!

This is a lie, don't believe everything you hear. The ticket prices aren't high as almost a grand. Now that would be ridiculous. That's probably special seating. There are diamond and gold packages on her website that are around that cost. VIP Gold (Row 2)-$879 and VIP Diamond (Row 1)-$999. Anytime you add surcharge and Ticketmaster in the mix things will be expensive. But understand this aint no regular artist, this is Janet Jackson. Most if not all of you all would pay that amount or more to see Jay-Z or Beyonce. Let's be for real. You are going to be paying a good amount to see someone ENTERTAIN. Someone who's been doing this for over 3 or 4 decades. I will be in attendance at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, GA. The prices there were from $65-$100 and some change.
