Tracee and Bu have been laughing off Diana's concerns and Tracee has assured her mom that she has no plans for marriage and that if she does marry Bu she will be his only wife.

Flo, in my opinion, was prettier and had the better, stronger voice. But when you start fucking the manager of the group like Diana did---Flo was bound to get sidelined. Flo started the singing group with her friends in the Brewster Projects in Detroit and later she picked the name "The Supremes" out of a hat at Hitsville USA in Detroit. I had a deep discussion with a co-worker from Kenya. Just as we believe in a monogamous relationship they believe in a polygamist ideal when it comes to marriage. I would be skeptical about being married to an African due to that. Some of them are honorable but you can go through enough problems with AA brothers who want to play you the fool. I also know of one good African brother who was married but because of the polygamist situation discovered by his wife they are divorced.

Many of you don't have a clue about what you're speaking of. You really don't. Diana did not sleep her way to the top, she was all ready a lead in the group The Primettes. Secondly, when the affair took place, Barry was not married. Btw, Berry used and manipulated Diana; she was hurt too. Florence nailed her own career in the grave, Diana was nice enough to pay for the funeral and to help out monetarily over the years. She also was smart enough to see that Berry was ripping people off and she left the group, not only for money but to also get away from Berry's control freak ass. Her and Smoke did not sleep around, Diana is a girly girl/flirty, but she's not a slut and she worked her ass off. Anyone could've sang the way Mary and Flo sang, sure Flo had an operatic voice but that's not what Berry was looking for. Diana's voice was the main attraction and it's why the group did so well. The girls were a bit jealous. Please remember that they were also very young and you tend to be immature about things, so if Diana's moods were off and on and when you combine that with added pressure and stress your patience and understanding will wear thin and your attitude may not be the best. Factor in insecurities and you'll have a young person that is compensating for a lot and who may take it out on others. Trust, the other girls were not always so nice and easy to get along with. Diana wasn't the only person with moodiness.
Another thing, Diana has always been proud to be Black, period. Respect this woman, she's done a lot for us and our community.
