Jennifer Hudson's new film 'Winnie, about the life of Nelson Mandela's wife Winnie Mandela, was already mired in controversy after the real Winnie Mandela condemned the film because no one came to her for input [click here if you missed that].
Now, after its screening at the Toronto International Film Festival, the film's reviews are not showing much promise...
Starring Jennifer Hudson and Terrence Howard as Nelson and Winne Mandela, the film was screened at TIFF in an unfinished form, but a quick trip around the internet reveals that while Jennifer and Terrence's performances are being well received the storyline and flow of the film has been widely panned and the movie failed to get picked up for distribution after the festival.

I get your point about the villains but Denzel was pretty good in "Training Day". His Oscar made more sense than Halle with her tail in the air getting a rough riding from someone named Billy Bob. 3 Six Mafia getting an Oscar for Hustle and Flow was a damn joke.
