My source, who's thisclose to the couple, tells me the world needn't hold its breath waiting for a divorce - all the rumors were "a publicity stunt intended to breath new life into Jada's show, HawthoRNe." Alas, this brilliant PR strategy didn't quite work - the show was canceled just after the breakup rumors started.

By faking the divorce rumours, Jada stood a chance of having people interested in her show. Especially since the person she was rumored to have been having the affair with was her co-star, Marc Anthony.
This is particularly possible since Jada strategically stopped wearing her wedding ring in public. Also, most blogs were sent a clip of the love scene between her and Marc from their show, to post.
