I saw that yesterday morning and I have mixed emotions, I thought Wendy was sincere but I don't like Wendy. And for the record I have always loved Whitney Houston remember the thread that was on here where RWS was talking about Lauryn Hill and Whitney Houston working together for an album? I did not dare say one word about Ms. Houston, the most I mentioned was about Lauryn being Haitian. I knew better than to talk about Ms. Houston who does not fit into the stereotypes about black-Americans and on top of that I am a huge fan of hers seeing as I have 2 albums from her and she is one of the artist who taught me how to sing.
I did not once dare to utter a word about Ms. Houston. Ms. Houston was gorgeous her beauty was definitely atypical and her talents were extraordinary so I knew better than to say anything negative about her she is an icon I don't say anything negative about Icons because I was raised better than that.

It warms my heart to see people treat a fallen icons death with respect and not make the tragedy all about them. I have often spoken kindly about Whitney & oddly enough wendy, & soho are somehow interjected into the conversation. Its amazing how similar their life, careers and talent are. Wendy & soho are true angels here on earth. Whitney wasn't half bad a singer either. You ALL will be missed....RIP WHITNEY.
I and many are sadden about the lost of Whitney but her final curtain has been pulled and i will still say she deserved more from the industry though. She did so much and made the best music ever and to have gone diamond and to be followed by so many i wonder why she only got 6 Grammy's in her Life Time? Was she not good enough when she was clean and sober she was at her Best, ever. How is it that Adele and Beyonce could get 6 Grammy's in one night and Whitney as good as she could Sing only get 6 in Her Life time? Strange to say the least.

I first discovered Whitney at a concert at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Va back when I was in highschool. I went because I worked at the amusement park and got in free. I had no idea what I was in for. I never forgot that night. Whitney was young, fresh, super talented and just mind-blowing! I feel privilleged to have had the opportunity to listen to her before she became a mega-star.
That concert was so intimate and it showed her personality and the love she had for her new fans and her family. Her brother did the concert with her.
Thank you Whitney for all the memories and awesome music. May you finaly rest in peace.

Crack is Wack! Was/is funny. I remember watching Being Bobby Brown and I actually started to love them as real people. I always thought that they would be fun people just to hang out with. I even noticed that Bobby's other children loved and felt comfortable around their stepmother Whitney. That is what changed my mind about her was how she treated her stepchildren. Before then I had only heard of her diva antics, but seeing her interaction with her (extended) family made me have a change of heart.

Everyone is flawed but you give a person flowers while they live. So no, I'm not feeling that crap that Wendy said at all. The real talk is this: why do people continuously go down this road of self destruction especially after we see example after example of what the end result is? The average person can only dream to attain the celebrity, status and success of a Whitney and a Michael…. yet they met the same alleged demise at the hand of drug abuse. In their circles are countless lives filled with excess, accessibility, financial means and enablers willing to do anything to associate. Sure drugs can give you an escape, a release & a temporary high but no one ever thinks about the depths that drugs can take you to. Even for the few that beat it, the toll that it takes on your mind, body and your life.... you still can’t get the years back fighting that. Wake up people, is it really worth it???

Crack is Wack! Was/is funny. I remember watching Being Bobby Brown and I actually started to love them as real people. I always thought that they would be fun people just to hang out with. I even noticed that Bobby's other children loved and felt comfortable around their stepmother Whitney. That is what changed my mind about her was how she treated her stepchildren. Before then I had only heard of her diva antics, but seeing her interaction with her (extended) family made me have a change of heart.

I recall Wendell back in 2003 clowning Whitney by running a phone recording in her shows promo. I remember Whitney. Saying something like. "....you don't know me, you've never been to my house, so keep my name out your fucking mouth, that's all I'm asking baby girl, keep my name out your mouth."
Someone needs to remind Wendell of that conversation with Whitney.

Whitney needed to be called out. Wendy was a shock jock. She talked about everybody. If Whitney had really lived the image Clive carefully crafted, what would Wendy have had to talk about? Everyone in the entertainment industry probably knew about Whitney because drug use rarely stays hidden among performers.
I heard the phone interview between these two - which was taped and edited because Ms. Houston was RAW! She did not need any defending by you, me or anyone else. She got her point across and did tell Wendy she loved her and Wendy told her the same. Reason being she was an exceptional talent regardless of her personal issues or what went on between these two.

I, for the most part, like Wendy. I do think she's a little color struck and obsessed with that "white is right" mentality. I saw the show and thought she was sincere, but I also noticed she skirted around that interview. I'm in STL so we never got her radio program, but Sister 2 Sister printed the transcript, which I read. It was anything BUT civil and if Whitney did say I love you, she was being sarcastic as hell. Anyone doubting Whitney's hoodness need only to hear that interview. She shut Wendy DOWN! And that ain't easy. Wendy should've apologized for past attacks, plain and simple.
