Roc-A-Fella Co-Founder Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges


Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Kareem 'Biggs' Burke pleaded guilty to drugs charges in Manhattan yesterday and is facing up to 40 years in prison...

Kareem, who was arrested along with 50 other people involved in a multi-state marijuana ring last October, pleaded guilty to a single count of conspiracy to distribute, and to possess with intent to distribute, more than 100 kilograms of marijuana.

As part of his plea agreement Kareem must forfeit $660,000, his residence, the $15,000 in cash that was seized from his home when he was arrested last year, and his 2010 BMW.

Kareem is facing a mandatory 5 year prison sentence and up to 40 years when he is sentenced on May 18.

Kareem, along with Jay Z and Damon Dash founded Roc-A-Fella records in 1995.
