I would like to respectfully disagree. There a plenty of dumb athletes that don't make it to the pros and because they didn't get a proper education during H.S. and college a lot of them return back to their neighborhoods to get substandard jobs, not even standard jobs because they are idiots’. They depended on their athletic abilities and didn’t even try to get a basic high school education. I saw a new story on this college athlete(basketball player-male) that didn’t make it to the pros and because he didn’t bother to learn anything in college he now works at a car wash; washing cars. Then there are those that do make it to the pros but will only be financial success if they don't get injured, addicted to drugs, use steroids or catch a murder case.
The value in having intelligence and an education under you belt is that the sky is the limit when is comes to financial success. There are no limits when you use your brain as oppose your body
