i know the cost of living is not high in north carolina, but trying to maintain a 38,768 crib is not a wise choice when you don't pull those kind of coins.

She admitted that she didnt know how to read,and bought that house right after she won american idol. from what i read she signed a mortgage deal with a shady loan sharking company in florida instead of going to a local nc bank. i think she was taken advantage of. they probably just told her to sign her name on various documents and she did it. her being straight out of the projects she probably didnt realize that a home is not a 1 time cost, there are ongoing bills like heating and cooling, water, insurance, etc. and for a house that big, the bills were probably in the thousands per month.
that combined with supporting her freeloading, lazy, no job having family caused this.
she needs to buy a decent 300-500k house, which in nc you can still get a very nice mcmansion for that price in a good area.

The house was probably overpriced to begin with-remember 2007 was before the housing bubble burst. She's selling it for what it's really worth-no loss here.
I agree with 11:04-she should get a smaller house that she can manage and stop supporting no-good lazy grown folks who should be taking care of themselves.
Seldom do I loose faith in people but when she attempted suicide over that pathetic bum she's been chasing and giving no concern about her daughter living through that trauma being left here without a mother, is asking for more than I have. Well whatever the case Fantasia didn't have to enter the mess and Paula and Antwin married was was covered under the rules and requirement from God what was Fanny covering in this? He pay have played her but that doesn't make Paula less valuable because she went into the married in the right way people are always going to be people and most of the time they are reckless. At this point Paula was hurt because she is not falling while on the other hand Fanny is falling and I am sure this wont be the last that we hear about it.

Honestly, Fantasia should have gotten rid of that house a while ago. I understand taking care of family but she had two of her brothers living with her and one was man enough to move out on his own and Teeny was the last to leave after Fantasia told him that he needed to find a place.
It's just her and her 2 children now; WHAT do you need a mansion for? Get a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom single family house or a 4 bedroom condo and call it a day.
In fairness to Fantasia, she's too famous to live just anywhere.
