James Payton, who grew up in Englewood and has known both the Hudsons and Balfour for 20 years, said he stopped by the Hudson home almost every day.
In the month of the murders, Payton saw Balfour outside an apartment building across the street from the Hudson’s house 30 to 40 times.
He said, about a week before the murders, he saw Balfour selling drugs outside the building.
However, Payton also testified that Jason Hudson occasionally sold drugs, which might bolster the defense’s claim that the Hudsons were killed over Jason’s drug dealings, and that Balfour had nothing to do with the killings.
Payton, who said he used to date Jennifer Hudson, is at least the second witness to testify Jason Hudson sold drugs. Julia Hudson also admitted her brother was a drug dealer.

Jennifer Hudson’s brother-in-law confessed that he killed two members of the superstar’s family, his mistress testified Friday.
“He said, ‘They got shot,’ and I said, ‘Who?’ He said, ‘Her mother and her brother,’ and I was looking at him crazy … like bug eyed, and just staring at him,” Shonta Cathey told jurors.
“He say he went in and the brother rushed him, and he shot him, and the mother was coming down the stairs, calling his name, and he shot her.”
But Balfour promised his mistress that he hadn’t hurt 7-year-old Julian King, as he confessed in her West Side apartment around 3 p.m., the same place he was arrested three hours later, Cathey said.

You'd be surprised what a person would do for weed. There was a case in my city where 3 men went to a house to steal weed. One of the guys killed two women and their 2 small babies against the groups plan which was to only steal.

@9:56 I remember that case. I was shocked to find out one of the guys involved grew up with me in Osceola, Arkansas. He was quiet and docile, never thought he would do something like that and couldnt believe it was him until I saw the mugshot. They thought they may be able to save the infant baby girl but she died hours later and both babies were buried in the caskets with their moms. It was really sad. I heard that was about some weed too.

Just as soon as you assume you've discovered it all, I heard the federal government levies taxes on the income narcotic dealers make on the drugs they sell. The IRS has specific rules where narcotic dealers are permitted to anonymously pay taxes for the sale of unlawful drugs. Which means that this rule safe guards them if the dealer is nabbed for their criminal actions, tax evasion is not employed towards them, nor will the repaying of taxes on that action be used by the prosecution? If JHudson did not have any thing to do with her family murders look at David Otunga because on night line she said that her finace called heron the phone and told her not to go and Ted on nightline said not to go where and she said by her mother house and that's when the killing took place and she would have been dead if that one phone call save her life. So I think they both have something to do with the family murders.And if you. Ogives he became famous too fast and also she broke up with her ex and started dateing David and within six months he gave her and engagement ring for her birthday and the nextmont her family were murders.
