OK...I read the comments and Snitch's summary of Kanye's appearance before watching the video. I must say, it is NOTHING like I was lead to believe. Y'all, including Snitch, made it seem as if Kanye was on the show for a huge stunt and he was refusing to answer questions when asked.
I agree with the other commenter who said Kanye didn't even have a mic. Additionally, no one even asked Kanye one question; so what was he supposed to say? In contrast to what everyone else thinks, I feel it was the right thing for Kanye to do to stay silent. Kanye is already a superstar (love him or hate him). It would have been wrong for him to steal the spotlight from this up and comer, whom he was there to simply support.
On another note, I had never heard of this '2 Mics', but I like him because he spoke eloquently and was not trying to portray a gangster image.

But to Kanye, in the intv, he seemed to want to be respectful of his artist (who indeed was speaking very eloquently on his own). Although, yeah, his total silence was a bit off-putting, because he generally has something to say, lol.
I'm a fan. Not gonna lie. He's FLAWED, but there's something about his honesty and ability to laugh at himself that makes him endearing, even with his craziness and poor choices. Most importantly, though, Kanye makes GOOD music that he commits all his mind, heart, and soul into creating. That kind of artistic passion and integrity is so refreshing in today's music.
