Witness Shocked That Pilar Was Arrested

A piano teacher who was inside the home when Pilar and Deion Sanders got into a fist fight last week [click here if you missed that] tells a local news station she is shocked that Pilar was arrested and that police declined to take her statement...

From WFAA
For nine years, she's taught piano lessons to Deion and Pilar Sanders' three children. On Monday, she was at the home, about to teach a lesson.
"I heard glass breaking, and Deion was shouting at the top of his lungs, over and over again, 'Get out of my house, get out of my house!'" Thomas said.
She said at the time there was only one child in the home, the couple's oldest son. She said he got scared. "He kept saying, 'Please don't stay. I don't want you to hear this,'" Thomas said.
Thomas said she made her way out of the house, and as she was leaving the police arrived. She describes them as being aggressive with Pilar.
"That's what I found strange," Thomas said. "They hadn't even interviewed them, and they were pushing her out like she was some criminal, and they said, 'You stay outside,' and just said, 'Do not come back in this house.'"
She said Deion Sanders was treated nicely. Thomas said she was stunned to learn Pilar Sanders was arrested.
"I was flabbergasted," she said. "This can not be right. It's not right. It's so wrong. Now way she deserved to go to jail."
She said Prosper police officers didn't take her statement. In fact, she says she called them the next day to give her account. "He said, 'Well you don't know the whole story. You don't know what happened,'" Thomas said of her call with police. "And I said, 'Well, I was there when the fight started.'"
