Brandy also does not have the same charisma she once had. It's so sad to see that. She always looks like she wants to break down and cry. Her spirit has really been broken since the accident and the marriage fiasco.

After seeing the Clive Davis interview, I went off Monica. The way she acted towards Brandy (just because she's married and Brandy isn't) wasn't nice at all. She came across snooty and up herself. I also got the impression that Monica found Brandy annoying.
Monica's a lil tougher than her, Brandy comes across like a weak, needy, pushover. I got the impression that Brandy's weakness gets on Monicas nerves. They're two completely different people. Brandy's right about them going in two separate directions.
I also agree that Brandy has changed. Still after their treatment of Whitney, I couldn't careless for neither one of them anymore. Ol dancing on Whitneys grave at the pre-Grammy party fake asses.
Monica uses people to get ahead. She's all smiles when they're realeasing a single together. Afterward the once budding friendship and "closeness" she had with that artist suddenly becomes non existent. I really can not stand her. Monica isn't as "nice" as she seems.

I've disliked Monica since she first came on the scene. She's just always had this "Mean Girls" kind of vibe to me. Brandy may have confidence issues, but I'd go out drinking with her any day.

Monica never liked Brandy. Brandy kissed her ass for years and Monica talked behind her back. Monica hated Brandy's accomplishments but could have had equal success if she hadn't chose hoodratting over having a career. I think someone finally filled Brandy in on how Monica has felt over the years and still feels. That duet was a dumb choice and Monica's label probably doesn't wanna fork up the cash for a tour since the album went brass.
I like Brandy's disposition (damaged and all)... she is not perfect... I can definitely identify with some of the confidence issues... some... with that said... she needs to permanently do her own thing and stop singing about finding love... haven't you been raising a child?... sing about that... sing about struggling to be a role model for her...
I never liked Monica because she has this nasty delusion of grandeur "verified" with a designer label and co-signed by a couple of likes/friends/followers that most Atlanta folks have...he attitude stinks and it reeks all in her music...

Brandy was doing it big back in the day. She was America's Sweetheart - good, clean image and all. Monica never got 'big' in fact, her popularity has pretty much stayed at the same level throughout her entire career, if not stalled a bit here and there. It must suck to be in Brandy's position, though, struggling to get back to the top. Personally, I feel like Brandy's premiere years are behind her at this point. She will never get that old thing back because the game has changed dramatically. It's all about sex appeal, which she doesn't have.
Back in the day Brandy was something Monica too. But today there to different artist. Monica still wants to talk about the feud they had back in the day. Brandy however wants to puts to put it to rest. I didn’t like the song either, no disrespect to either artist. Monica is married now and she should change for the better. You say she action uppity I say she maturing. More artists should follow her lead and stop trying to relive your past to fit in….Brandy has a lot of demons in her pass I hope she finds peace.
