Waka explains that he was not an artist, just a regular neighborhood trap star who had been hanging out with Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane. After Gucci went to jail Waka had to go back in the trap and on his first cop someone sold him fake product. Angry about being duped Waka impulsively started rapping over a track and the rest is history.
