Jaden Smith has been releasing singles online hoping to jump start his recording career and he recently called his mom Jada Pinkett-Smith for help...
In an interview promoting her new film "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted", Jada explained how Jaden called her about a week ago asking if she would call producer Jeffery Katzenburg and have him place one of his singles on the Madagascar soundtrack.
If only he'd thought of it sooner.
Jada tells the Today Show,
"I was like, 'Listen, it's done, it's over, OK?' He's like, 'I know you can call Jeffrey and get it done mommy, I can put a song on there.' I'm like, 'No, baby, you can't.' But I was actually really flattered that he thinks it's still cool."

Weird. Why would Jada relay a story revealing her child's spoiled sense of entitlement? Is there her way of saying the Smith kids are little assholes and she thinks it's cool? I really feel more sorry for Willow because I think her gay father emotionally abuses her by virtually ignoring her. All the poor thing has is her awful mother.

Boy, ever since the dawn of these "triple threat" celebrities where they were actor, R&B singer and athlete we've been fighting for some real art. No hones their craft any longer. They would much rather spread themselves thin by being everything to everyone. The result: diluted lyricists with delusional thoughts of grandeur, a flood of "hip" clothing lines, reality tv shows designed for the actor who actually can't act and so and so forth. I beg of you people, STOP IT ALREADY! You can't be good at everything.
