Chrissy: I guess if somebody is afraid to speak their mind and wanna stand up for themselves, then yes. I want people to realize that they can have whatever they want. You can be respected in your relationship exactly the way you want to be. It’s up to you to go get it. Some of the stuff is a little heavy, but you’re not going to be exposed to crazy situations in life just by watching reality TV. You can go to the corner store and see crazy shit going on. You can go to school and see crazy shit.Don’t put it all on me.

I am a professional young black woman and it has taken me many unproductive years to finally figure out the game of get a head in the corporate world. Time and again I see "others" whose parents, grand parents, friends, and associates told them the rules early and showed them how to pay to play LATER. I wish DAILY that there were more real role models and mentors for black youth on the move- I know I try to impart any knowledge that I get into my son at every opportunity. Real wealth is health, family, and wise ways. Black people stay up! These women do not represent the millions of us hard working and good hearted people.
