Earlier in the evening there was concern over who would accept the 2012 Billboard Millennium Award on Whitney Houston's behalf, Bobbi Kris or her sister-in-law Pat Houston?
In the end they both accepted the award.

The 2012 BET AWARDS better come with it on their tribute to WHITNEY HOUSTON. They have plenty of time to put together a TRIBUTE that SUPERSEDES all tributes past and present. The BET 2012 AWARDS should be focused around her. I rocks me to my very core that we are talking about WHITNEY HOUSTON in past tense. I thank GOD that I was one of the fortunate one’s to witness a voice as such as hers. Regardless of her troubles she has touched so many people including Bin Laudin! LOL! If she reach people like that it was GOD’S DIVINE PURPOSE to only let her be here in body a short time but in our spirits forever.Her legacy is her daughter and she has done a great job with that young woman. Three months after my mother’s death I still couldn’t talk about it and I’m a woman in my 30s. She was poised well spoken and beautiful. She has her father’s mouth but everything else is WHITNEY even the little pudge she has. Bobbi Kris is going to be just fine. As for Pat, Whitney trusted her with everything. If she thought that Pat was not going to do right she would have never made Pat the EXECUTOR over her will. She was smart enough to get Bobby’s ass of it. Pat and Gary took care of her child when she couldn’t while she was getting herself together. She knew that she could trust her to do right by her baby. Who else would be suitable and that they can trust to in their camp to help Bobbi Kris with her career? Pat is Bobbi Kris’s unofficial guardian. 19 doesn’t mean grown. If Pat was so grimmy she would have been the one to sell the REAL pictures of Whitney lying dead on that bathroom floor plus some. Instead, the guy that was providing the drugs to her and was a hanger on flew back to Newark with her body disrespected Whitney and her family in the most invasive way for money. It makes no sense to me to label Pat as the bad one when she had plenty of chances to make money off of Whitney’s death. This is just my take on it.

I'm not really surprised she's turned out this way either. Bobby Brown has impulse control issues which is why he was kicked out of NE. I think Whitney was Bipolar not that I'm trained to diagnose it but I have a sister who acts just like her. Social butterfly to the max one moment but withdrawn or ready to box the next. Extended drug use can cause bipolar characteristics. Coupled with both Whit and Bobby having addictive personalities. Then living in a horribly dysfunctional family setting. Bobbi Kris never stood a chance.

The people that Whitney had around her were the people she wanted around her good,bad or indifferent no matter what the others think.Whitney trusted her with her career,money, and child.
