Now Arsenio is trying to recapture the magic...
CBS just announced a new deal with Arsenio to develop a syndicated talk show to air in fall 2013.
The show has sold in 17 of the top 20 markets in 52% of the country.

I used to love his sow back in the day, but I don't think that he should do another talk show. I just don't think that he would be able to have that magic again. Don't do it A...maybe you should let someone else do a talk show and maybe you can back them.
I like how Arsenio is now,the way he described how Aubry O'kay,was talking about black mens penis's and she was trying to provoke him, and he just ignored her,and pointed out how if it were a man talking about vagina it would be news worthy...I like his view on things...I think Arcenio will take over the Talk Show genre

Arsenio's show was falling in the ratings for a year or 2 prior. 'Kahn had nothing to do with it.
If that was the case,someone please put Farrakhan on the KKKardashian show.ASAP
He did a re-birth of Star Search during the height of the American Idol craze,that didn't go over so well.

Arsenio Hall reached out and gave a voice to the black community back in the days. I'm not sure what exactly can be shown currently but I'll definitely tune in to watch.

I'll tune in. I miss Arsenio. His show was on Fox, which was a new network at the time. Fox was open to trying new and different things and had a lot of black tv shows ( ie: Living Single, Martin, In Living Color).
In addition, hip hop, rap and New Jack Swing were NOT mainstream. Arsenio gave Black artists an opportunity that they usually don't get. I remember him also having new and upcoming and lessor known Black artists who could never be booked on the Tonight Show or Letterman, unless they had a big project coming out.
Things have changed. He's older and he'll be on CBS which doesn't get any whiter. Their demographic is old, white people. Hip hop has gone mainstream and these artists can promote their movies, CDs, ect on the mainstream channels.
I'm not saying he won't do well because he's a very likeable person; very smart and intelligent but don't expect to see the level of Black consciousness like you saw with him having Farrakhan on there. No Frances Cress or Naim Akbar. You might seev

Arsenio will be "soft Black conscious" and a typical Hollywood liberal pushing the gay agenda. If he doesn't, he won't last.

I just watched that clip on The View of him talking about Aubry. I did already know that hoe was scandalous but damn! Oh and Arsenio was doing the absolute most to be endearing -- tone it down please. I certainly did not need to see Sherrie's booty.
Kinda miss the show.. Went back and watched the shows that he had pac on.. Pac was high as fuck but speaking some real shit.

For this exact reason CBS will let him "be himself" a little,to bring up the ratings....CBS needs to step up to the competition...CBS has always been a boring channel. I cannot stand Donald Trump ever since he started with this Birther shit about the POTUS (Although the POTUS is not my favorite person--we still have to vote for him out of remorse). Here's Arsenio's gift: He can talk to ANYBODY. If you're white, black, hip hop, corny, or country, he has mastered a way to connect with you and that's a beautiful gift. Can't buy that, it's God given.
Congrats to him, and I wish his all the success in the world. Looking forward to the new show.
