Conrad Murray, who's serving four years in jail for manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson, is deperate to switch prisons claiming the one he's in is killing him...
In his plea to be moved from the Los Angeles County Jail Conrad says he only gets fresh air once a month and fresh underwear once a week.
Conrad wrote to the judge,
"I may not make it out of here alive. This is a very dangerous place. I'm in here dying. The system is intent on killing me."His case is still pending.

in this case it is a shame on the patient. MJ got what ever he asked for and showed his ass if he did not. when conrad came on board he was already addicted. if he was not with the program then MJ would have found somebody else who was. MJ was known for giving his self the drug, he knew how to hook his self up the the IV!

If Michael was such a hopeless addict, why was he ruled as being in good health at the time of his death by the coroner's office? Doesn't prolonged drug abuse damage the internal organs and compromise overall health?
KILLING MICHAEL is not Conrad Murray's only instance of jeopardizing a patient's life and behaving outside of traditional boundaries in medicine. He did it in Texas with one of his heart patients and he was investigated/prosecuted for misconduct in Nevada.
Michael's mistake wasn't employing the use of Propofol as a last resort to get some sleep before beginning the TII residency - under an attentive and watchful eye, it can be done safely (even in unorthodox, non-recommended settings). His mistake was trusting Conrad Murray to administer care to him for an extended period of time. I bet Kai Chase would've done a better job than Quack Murray.
If you really think Conrad Murray is a fall guy for the inevitable catch-up of Michael's years of "abuse" and the Good Doctor's character had nothing to do with what happened the morning of June 25th, 2009, then tell us all why Conrad Murray recorded a medicated, half-asleep Michael on his iPhone a month and a half earlier? What would be the purpose of that action - especially with someone who is your "friend," whom you supposedly "love"? If Conrad Murray was doing what he was supposed to - for what Michael hired him to do - instead doing, that morning, what he felt like doing, Michael would've lived to go to London.
The issue at the center of what led to Conrad Murray's conviction is STANDARD OF CARE, not Michael's supposed addiction-status. He was supposed to monitor Michael and NOT overdose him and he didn't do those things, as evidenced by his phone records and the amount of ppf found in Michael's body.

is a sympathomimetic amine commonly used as a stimulant, appetite suppressant, concentration aid, decongestant, and to treat hypotension associated with anaesthesia.

You have no idea what you are talking about and instead are spreading lies as 2:32/2:34/etc. Propofol knocks you out so quickly you either a) can't finish administering the dose or b) can't monitor oxygen flow and consumption so to say Michael "was known" to self-administer via IV is lunacy.
@ is correct. The coroner's report listed Michael's body as in very good health with no major organ damage. Someone who had abused drugs for decades would not be given that clean bill of health. He died of ACUTE propofol intoxication. The lidocaine was used to lessen the sting of the IV and injections from Murray and the ephedrine is a very common drug available in many places over the counter. It was well known Michael suffered from intractable insomnia which was why he was taking the propofol and the other medications--all under a doctor's advice.
Murray's inattentiveness lead to Michael's death. If you had read the reports and followed the trial--actually listened to the testimony--you would have no choice but to agree with this.
As for Murray, what he's going through is nothing compared to the pain and loss Michael's family, fans, and friends are going through on a daily basis. He'll be okay.

Some of you act like a coroner cant be paid to give a deceased person's body a clean bill of health. FATWOOH.
That said, I agree that, while MJ was a DRUG ADDICT, Murray was not acting under the Hippocratic oath as a physician to care for his patient. Yes $150K a months is NICE, so there's no way I would have let MJ fall off the way he did.
Who does it serve to pay the Coroner to fabricate the results of the autopsy? The stories came hard and fast {and haven't stopped} that Michael was an addict. Obviously paying off the Coroner Did. Not. Work. Who would bother to pay for such a thing? Come on...
ACUTE PROPOFOL INTOXICATION was the coroner's finding as the primary chemical agent in Michael's death. Murray chose NOT to tell the EMTs nor the UCLA doctors that he gave Michael Propofol when they were attempting to resuscitate him. He was dead already and couldn't be revived, but full disclosure at that crucial time would've painted a different picture than what turned out to be the truth: he's a greedy, negligent, tail-chasing quack who killed a man. Were the EMTs and Doctors paid to say that Conrad Murray didn't disclose that information? Did Katherine pay herself to say that Conrad Murray didn't come over and comfort her and the kids at the hospital - you know, like Ed Winter must have been paid to say Michael the Addict was in good health?
Propofol didn't suddenly catch Michael slipping. It caught Conrad Murray slipping - it killed Michael. The man tried to hide the bottles and leave the hospital to get back to the mansion to get rid of evidence. Trial's over. He killed Michael. He's the guilty party. The end. Damn.

Oh, and as far as a coroner being paid off, everyone knows hollyweird is a strange place with people who do strange things. So paying a coroner off to give a famous drug addict a clean bill of health to make it look good is not surprising...except to hardcorefans and stans.

There are a LOT of people in this world who have unwittingly found themselves addicted to prescription medications: you have an accident, or have surgery or something similar and you are in excruciating pain. The meds help. They make you feel good. Eventually you realize you like them a little bit too much. You admit you have a problem and you seek help. This was Michael (and so many others).
Like so many have already said, you cannot blame the victim here. Michael did not die because of anything he is/was addicted to; he died because of the negligence of his doctor. His doctor FAILED to monitor him because he was preoccupied with chasing women. The number of consorts, ex- and present girlfriends presented during the trial was astounding. Murray is still married with a basketball team full of children, mind you. He was juggling all these women with dollar signs in his eyes and lost sight of what he was hired to do: help his patient.
Oh, and propofol is completely non-addictive, so that smashes your addiction argument.
