According to reports Lauryn Hill neglected to file income tax for 2006, 2007 and 2008 while earning $818,000, $222,000 and $761,000 respectively.
Ms. Hill is facing $300,000 in fines and up to a year in prison.
Lauryn is expected to appear in court to face the charges on June 29, 2012.
