I want to share what I’m going through in real-time to correct, reconcile and reinvent. You see I’m on a quest to live in love and joy come hell or high water. So, I’ll be writing about my future and how I’m moving forward in life using the knowledge I’ve gained from my past and wisdom I’m finding now.

I remember going through a rough patch and along with meditation, I lucked up on books by Elaine Brown (former Black Panther leader), a sis that was once a felon that went on to write for the Washington Post and inspirational fiction.
I still keep these books because I want a reminder of that scary time when my mother was not there (truth is, she was barely there unless it was time to go shopping), my grandmother was only there in a certain capacity, my aunts only had gossip and my friends only wanted to go to the club.
