Yup this rumor has been going on for a minute, notice that there are no pictures of Katherine pregnant with Janet from that time period. Rebbie would have been 16 when Janet was born, word is that she got knocked up and Joe and Katherine weren't going to have it so they raised the child as their own to avoid the stigma. There are problems in all families. The Jacksons are no more dysfunctional than many I know of (black or white). When you are the guardian of children, even when on vacation, if the kids are trying to reach out to you, you answer them...you don't know there's an emergency situation going on back home. Her comments right there put her underfire. Secondly, 70,000 a month is more than enough money for three kids to live on. Third, if anyone read Michael, the music and the madness, you would understand the true relationship Michael had with him and his brothers including his father. The bad relationships started when Michael was young, way before he came into money and became worse after he did. His brothers and fathers were shady characters. After Michael did Thriller, he did not want to go on tour with his brothers to do the Victory tour, but he knew they were strapped for cash so he did it to help them out. There's no telling how much Michael shelled out to his family financially. But why should he keep bailing grown men out, especially able body men who can work? It's the principle of the matter. If the money goes to anyone, let it be for a worthy cause, not to allow your brothers to pay off child support when they are capable of doing that themselves.
