The Show Must Go On for Rihanna
Swedish fans trash Rihanna's performance after she goes on with the show hours after learning her beloved Grandma Dolly had died...
On Saturday night, June 30th, during Rihanna's performance at the Peace & Love Festival in Borlänge, Sweden fans on Twitter began ripping RiRi apart for her terrible performance.
Tweeters reported fans were walking out in droves, that Rihanna was drunk, and that she'd even dedicated a song to Norway instead of Sweden.
Turns out she grieving the loss of her beloved 'GranGran Dolly'. Rihanna's grandmother Clara 'Dolly' Braithwaite lost her battle with cancer Saturday night in a New York city hospital.
Rihanna posted a photo tribute to her Grandmother on Twitter later that evening and received condolences from Chris Brown and his mother.

Poor Rhi Rhi. I pray that she gets help before we lose her like Amy Whinehouse.
the awkward moment when your parent loves your ex more than you do.
is it me or does the new skinny chris brown look like a dirty devante swing?
Reading this brings me right back to what K Michelle said on the first episode of love and hip hop. no matter how much pain you in, no body wants to hear it, just shut up and sing an make that money. I hope she is ok soon.
A performer knows or should know when they can do a show and when they can't. Sometimes it's best to cancel or postpone. People will understand. Stepping onstage drunk is not good under any circumstances. The important thing is to keep the fans in mind when these decisions are made.
To a consummate performer, "the show must go on" means that the fans still get what they came for, no matter what's going on in a performer's personal lives. And believe me, performers are giving brilliant shows all the in the midst of heartache.
^ "all the time in the midst of heartache."
I was at a Maze concert, and the drummer had a mild heart attacked mid-set. Frankie walked offstage for a few minutes while the band kept playing. They got the man off in an ambulance, then Frankie came on and finished the set.
Now THAT'S being a consummate professional. They deserved their lifetime achievement last night.
and that she'd even dedicated a song to Norway instead of Sweden.
Too funny.
Rihanna gives a fuck.
Bout time those dummies realize this useless piece of garbage serves no purpose.
Should've been her that die, not her granny.
It's amazing she even went out to perform. She's a human like the rest of us.
Only God can judge.

No it isn't; it was unwise. If a surgeon botches a surgery on a loved one, would you say, "aw, she's just human"? Or what about the engineers whose job it is to keep your bridges safe? Okay for them to have a bad day?
All of us professionals need to make it a first priority to always perform at the top of our game when it comes to our profession. Doesn't matter what profession it is. Somebody, not necessarily Rihanna, mad a bad decision to let her go out there like that.
I see that allseeing eye of horus on your right sleeve rihallsatanic!! I'm wondering why in her tweets she puts thy will be done followed by it is done. That sounds not so much as a reference of scriptures as a green light to the illuminati...I could be wrong but her granny was well enough to be taking ignorant pics and having birthday parties one week and the next she does 360 and succumbs to cancer?? Hmmmm....
11:20 – Are you thinking grams was a sacrifice? Nonetheless, death of a loved one is hard. I hope this doesn’t send Rhi spiraling out of control since she was already headed in that direction.
These people are under contract to perform, there is millions on the line for an hour worth of work. You cancel you get sued, business doesnt care that ones loved one passed.
I've heard some people talk about how they dealt with their pain by putting everything into their performance - music, movie, art, etc.
Maybe Rihanna could give that a try instead of booze, etc.
some of these comments are uncalled for. somebody has DIED.
His mother is rediculous. People don't pick up the damn phone anymore? If someone close to me die and you don't pick up a phone, don't bother me at all. And if they DID call, the tweets weren't necessary. I know Karue-sheloveyoulongtime didn't like that at all.
@11:13 Rihanna's profession is nowhere near as important as a surgeon or engineer....so please have a seat.
The girl is damned if she does....damned if she don't. If she would have cancelled the performance hours before the concert then.people would have been mad.
I'm.not even a huge Rihanna fan....but I think it took a a lot for her to come out on that stage and perform after just plowing a loved one. Danny....some of ya'll have no compassion!
