American Idol Producers Banking on Mariah Carey Nicki Minaj Drama

American Idol producers are anxious for Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey to butt heads at the judges table...

From Page Six
We’re told “Idol” execs want to announce Minaj as a judge as soon as possible, before the auditions start filming in the next week or two. Sources say producers “want to see that drama between Nicki and Mariah Carey. It’ll make for good TV.”

How are you gonna have a legend sitting next to Nicki...she has not paid her dues to the music industry to be considered a judge...oh well I wont be watching.

If Mariah Carey had any self respect and dignity about herself & her legacy as a record setting musical artist she would resign from being apart of AI if Nicki Garbage is really going to be on that show.

Of course they are but I don’t think they gonna get it. Hopefully these two Women realize that “Drama TV” makes us look like buffoons. The Producers know that catty sub-plots pay the bills on TV now. I don’t think Mariah will feed in to it (cause she been around and know what time it is) But Tricky Mirage is hungry and might want to play the game to get paper & additional fame outside of the music industry

Mariah is an excellent choice I think. Nicky on the other hand I like Nicky, but NOT as an AI judge. Who is she to give advice . They took her everything, turned her into barbie and the rest is history for the vessel known as Nicky Minaj. I would LAUGH at Nicky giving me advice. She'd probably get cussed out !

Not only that i'm not excited about the combination. Seems like it will be too much, or not balance enough or something. I will get a headache watching Nicky and Mariah plus another person ! I say one or the other but both are too much.

I doubt there will be drama - they will both do that fake nice thing ... at most we'll get a side eye.

*hater moment*

They look so stupid in that picture.

I just hear a bunch of "daaaarlings", fake crying and fake British accents. Nope, I'm good.

This bullshit drama was planned before the last season ended. Didn't NMinaj tell JLo she was coming for her seat wid her stankin ass.

Wait, do people still watch this show? Really? It's so rigged its not even funny. I think I realized how phony it was after the 3rd season. Also I hate how they let all the untalented singers get so far just so they judges can laugh and make faces. After a while it gets old.

I have not watched this rigged show since Jennifer Hudson's loss. Nicki Garbaj does not need to judge anyone with her untalented self.Who could listen to her fake annoying voice for a minute anyway?

"But still. At least Randy did have behind-the-scenes experience, something that cannot be said for Mariah or for most of the other colorful characters, from Nicki Minaj to Nick Jonas, who've been lining up waiting to snag Randy's empty judging seat."

This will undoubtedly put the dagger in AI once and for all. The end is near.

The producers want a hot oil wrestling match between the two.
