Chris Brown Scoffs at Nightclub Lawsuit

The nightclub where Chris Brown and Drake came face to face and fought over Rihanna filed a $16 million lawsuit against both the rap-singers, too bad C Breezy is so unconcerned...

From Page Six
Chris Brown’s legal team is reportedly unimpressed with the $16 million lawsuit he and Drake are facing over the bottle-throwing melee at Manhattan nightclub WiP.
“It’s a frivolous lawsuit,” a rep for Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, told TMZ. The Post reported that the R&B singer and Drake have been sued by Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., a company affiliated with WiP., where the stars’ entourages allegedly engaged in a violent brawl.
The legal papers claim that the rivals “shared a grudge” over their romantic relationships with Rihanna.

If the club owners knew of this rivalry BEFOREHAND ,why let both parties inside the club? Where was the club security?

I don't see how the lawsuit is frivolous when people got seriously injured & that club got closed down because a bunch of wanna be thugs don't know how to act in public. Who goes to the club to have fun expecting to end up with a glass bottle upside your head? I hope both of their asses get sued. Chris Brown's arrogant ass needs a swift kick in the butt like losing millions of dollars. Maybe then he'll stop buying all these cars & start saving some of his money. We all know his CD isn't selling for shit. At least Drake will make his money back if he gets sued. Chris Brown on the other hand is already hanging on by a thread. I guess he'll keep selling those ridiculous ugly ass hats & windbreakers he keeps posting.

@8:39 It isn't frivolous at all. No lawyer in their right mind would risk sanctions by bringing a frivolous lawsuit and waste the Court's time.

The entourages set up "camps" in such a way that they were facing each other and within close range of each other. That already is very warlike.

The entourages each blame the other for starting the fight. Since the fight did happen, a third party can say one of the groups did willingly start the fight. Doesn't matter which one, because they are suing them both.

The security in the entourage actively engaged in fighting, not exiting the scene, trying to neutralize the situation, or providing assistance to innocent bystanders. But they chose to engage in a dangerous altercation the midst of innocent bystanders.

And then there's the injured bystanders' suits.

Frivolous? Tony Parker's wack-ass $@0 million suit against the club was frivolous.

I'm just mad because we probably won't know how much they settle for.

So apparently the people Chris hire can't keep their mouth shut either. What's "frivolous" is two grown men with access to just about everything fighting like two females over another female.

This had nothing to do with Rihanna. This was more about their egos than anything. Can't stand drakes old man face looking ass. And I'm mad that he's producing Aaliyah's album. Ugh! I'd rather Timbaland and Missy produce it NOT his overtly obsessed ass. 16 milli is a lot of money. Chris may want to calm his arrogant ass down before he loses what little career he has left. What happened to the humble appreciative CB? He may want to re-connect with his old self and simmer down some.

@9:13 They are not grown men, actually. They are large boys. So far, the only thing that qualifies them as men is their ability to reproduce. Boys BECOME men.

@12:44 and 6:58...did either of you see the word "IF" at the beginning of the 12:29 post?

I don't think Chris Brown is being arrogant just stupid. His Legal team put out that statement and his dumb ass is just going with it. He don't know shit about law so he believes them. I guess he feel like if he didn't start it its not his fault.

I agree 100% with 9:13 and let me add they are both clowns and i hope they have to pay out a lot of money to the people who got injured.

No i agree 100% with 10:23 not 9:13 is right on the money.

@3:08 PM
This is what happens when race mixing goes wrong, dead ass wrong. at the same token they are not going to get 16 milli from this lawsuit, the injured bystanders will get some dough too, but this amount is ridiculous, the so called "thuggish" rappers and their entourage who started the whole bottled throwing fiasco should be sued into oblivion, these fake ass studio gangsters and their when keeping it real fuckery goes wrong, dead ass wrong persona.

What happened to the humble appreciative CB?

What happened? What happened is he dropped about ninety percent of the "humble appreciative" facade he's been fronting all these years.

"Humble appreciative" Chris Brown never existed.
