"Basketball Wives" star Evelyn Lozada is not ready to face the public following her brutal break-up with unemployed NFLer Chad Johnson ... so she cancelled all her upcoming public appearances, TMZ has learned
Sources tell TMZ ... Evelyn had several gigs lined up -- including the second half of her book tour for "The Wives Association: Inner Circle," as well as various club gigs and a book expo in September where she was supposed to appear alongside "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice.
But we're told Evelyn is not ready to deal with the questions the public will ask regarding the domestic violence incident and divorce ... so she pulled the plug on all the engagements.

i'm thinking the same thing! this so-called "laceration" was probably just a surface wound. those can bleed a lot and look much worse than they are. and a concussion was never mentioned.

@5:58 i don't know but in the law it certainly makes a difference if someone is provoked. if i headbutt someone who hasn't provoked me with the intent of hurting them and they die i could be charged with murder if it can be proved i wanted to kill them. but if a person is provoking me and in the heat of the moment i lose it and head butt them and they die, its manslaughter not murder.
i don't think they are asking to get hurt but their action make it more likely that they WILL eventually get hurt. violence begets violence, someone said.
