Good observation. I think this happens a lot when a person from the hood makes it out either through education, talent, skill or by sheer determination. When that person who is now more refined and probably identifies with a middle class value system returns to the hood, there is bound to be 'culture clashes.' this happens all day, everyday in black America. Some black people want more for themselves, go get it and then are criticized for being or acting 'too white' by their old friends and family members because those people have settled for less.
I think this might be the case between JHud and Julia. Julia seems like she is ghetto to the core and probably resents her sister for her success, even though she most likely benefits from that success.

Actually I remember when Oprah's daytime show featured Jennifer, after she'd lost the weight. They talked to her and the president of Weight Watchers and featured her family who'd all done WW too and got makeovers. The only one I didn't see was her sister and I was like why not? I wouldn't be surprised if Jen IS pissed with her, Julia brought that man into their lives. And Julia probably looking like that to show Jen she don't give a f*ck.

I knew when I clicked in it was going to be interesting. I heard that Jennifer and Weight Watchers offered her family members the plan. Julia is the only in the family that flat out refused to participate. Jennifer said that when Julia visits her at home she even refuses to eat the organic food that Jennifer has. Jennifer has said that Julia hates health foods and thinks that organic food makes her physically sick. This may be true. If you only have a steady diet of low quality food then the healthy stuff will not taste good to some. I guess when Julia has a heart attack or stroke then she will be force it eats healthy in the nursing home, but her hair and makeup looks nice.
Julia ain't shit, remember when she had her MySpace hobby as sucking good Dick. After dude took out her family, she still had a shrine of his pics on MySpace. She was always complaining about how her mom favored Jen over her and she was jealous of Jen. When her son was missing, that hog got on tv talking about her birthday. Jen bought that big bitch a house and her little boy liked staying with his grandma instead of Julia. She had another kid last year, typical.

I'm not saying she can't remember or grieve over them in her own way...but let's face it, if she was turning to food for comfort, it is doing more harm than good for her.
