Weeks before the Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Reunion show aired there were rumors that K. Michelle and Rasheeda had come to blows and that someone got knocked out.
But you know how rumors are: half truth and half lie...
The truth is the conversation got heated after Rasheeda admitted she didn't believe K. Michelle's story about Memphitz and Rasheeda did leap for K. Michelle after K made a couple cracks about Rasheeda disrespecting her husband on camera but the lie is nobody got knocked out or even touched. The argument was broken up before they even got close to each other.

I promise you @ 9:42, I felt that way from the FIRST episode and haven't watched it since. What troubles me is that these images are getting into the psyches of our young women: young women and middle school and these are the "role models" for them today. Yea, it's up to the parents, up to the parents. Bull! When I teach my daughter what's right at home and then send her out into the world with all it's ratchedness that society feeds us, it's NOT all up to the parents. Each of us have a responsibility to live responsibly; sure we know there is dysfunction, but dang, could we at least TRY to break the cycle. it doesn't help that black women are behind this, so I give up.

What a great observation! I was wondering how someone as old as Rasheeda is close friends with Toya--a girl about half her age! I am so sick of hearing people say these shows make black women look bad. Women EVERYWHERE of all races fight and act like clowns WHEN we want to. We are WOMEN, we are HORMONAL, PERIOD. Women and hormonal are synonymous, so put us all in a room (on or off camera) for months at a time, and you're bound to get some fighting on any given day.
All of these women have serious issues and they act crazy, yes. BUT the problem is not the women acting crazy, it's everyone on these blogs and everywhere discussing how it makes us "look bad" and how they don't watch it, when 90% of you actually do, which is FINE. We are all grown, and if your kids watch it, it's because YOU let them!!! And if they sneak and watch it, or act crazy, don't blame TV, because as parents, you should raise your OWN kids (and not the TV) and teach them the right way, and if they DO watch these semi-reality shows, they can still walk out the door with the morals and values that you as a parent taught them. Everyone (especially black people) always wants to blame someone else instead of taking responsibility themselves.
